There is a deep state. It is called big money politics and privatization. Republicans specifically try to move away from the oversight and purposeful transparency of government into private corporations, specifically for reduced transparency and no oversight, no influence from the people there. But hey man it is a giant liburul conspiracy (never mind the men behind the curtains robbing you blind). But hey you get to hate gay people and openly talk shit to minorities while you are being robbed by your elected officials, your team, so I guess you win?
I don't hate gay people and I don't care about skin color.

But you need to understand that there are three important groups: labor, entrepreneurs, and power conglomerates.

Republicans have traditionally been the anti-labor pro-conglomerate party. They are interested in increasing the ability of conglomerates to violate what should be the rights of people (both labor and entrepreneurs) by conglomerates. They do this by making empty promises to help entrepreneurs and claiming that their efforts help labor as well; if they actually did this, they'd be right.

Democrats have become the anti-entrepreneur pro-conglomerate party. They are interested in granting labor the ability to violate what should be the rights of entrepreneurs, while ensuring that the power conglomerates remain unscathed, and in so doing eliminate the conglomerates' potential competitors. They make empty promises to labor telling them that their world would be better without big business, by which they imply the conglomerates but actually mean the entrepreneurs; if the conglomerates were targeted for eliminatation instead of the entrepreneurs, they'd be right.

So let us not pretend that Establishment Republicans are worse than Establishment Democrats. They're mostly two sides of the same coin, and if a conglomerate favors one over the other, that merely indicates whether they prefer the defense of deregulating themselves, or the offense of regulating their rivals.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

This infographic speaks more than a thousand words.

You're from Canada so I don't need to translate.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Nonesense. It's Muslims in Syria and Iraq, in the Syrian Arab Army, in the Iraqi army who die fighting protecting Christians there. Wahhabi and thier interpretation make less than 5% of the world's muslim population yet are responsible for 99% of global terrorist attacks. Maybe you should ask Trump why he's kissing ass of Wahhabi factory Saudi Arabia instead? As we do the pain will continue.

Christians, Druze, Jews etc survived just fine in Muslim ME for 1400 years. Hard to say if they survive US/Saudi alliance
Git R Dun!

And Trump causes more HIV. He really does the Steve Bannon thing really well, destroying the system.
Oh no. Now Trump is responsible for AIDS. I didn't see this one coming.

You do know that at the height of HIV scare the US spent hundreds of times more money (can't remember the exact figure but you could look up) than on cancer. Cancer which is the 3rd leading cause of death in the US. AIDS is not even near the top 10.

Squeaky wheels and all that ...
