 Regarding Syria, US is trying to form and maintain a wedge between SY and IQ, to prevent the respective armies to link up the two countries. Effectively US is at war with Syria now: US strikes pro-government forces in Syria for 2nd time in week, trying to save their useless "FSA" clown proxies who would already be steamrolled, if it wasn't for US air cover. Trump got his orders from the glowing orb while in KSA. We will throw Qatar under the bus and pin all the terror allegations on them, you make sure that the "Shia devils" don't link up Iran, Iraq and Syria. Yes. Doesnt matter who wins 99% will lose. I had better hope though this time with trump being an outsider. Guess he duped me.
I expected he'd call KSA to the mat like 9/11 commission and scholars have. Tell them Stop funding ISIS, and this radical mosques/madrassas world wide or your protection umbrella disappears not to mention not letting them arm up further. KSA & Qatar are in a regional competition for influence, with both countries supporting various islamist groups. Looks like KSA is now going in for the kill. Trump most likely promised support and the fat billions arms deal is just part of this development. What I'm really surprised is that Turkey supports Qatar and is supposedly sending troops. So its Turkey - Iran - Qatar vs KSA - Egypt - UAE. Russia is an "ally" of Iran, but also quite friendly with Egypt. Russia has also quite mended its relations with Erdogan (eg: Turkey at 'final stage' with Russia over S-400 missile system). At the same time US has a major base in Qatar... maybe there will be just a soft regime change (there is no shortage of "princes" in those countries). Trump's stance on Iran was known, he opposes the Obama Iran deal and we can expect the US acting more vs Iran in the future. When night falls
