Donald Trump and US politics

I wonder what is going to happen with the Paris Agreement.

As far as anyone knows, Trump hasn't actually pulled out yet. The only hope remaining for this issue is that he doesn't pull out, spins green energy as jobs creation to appease the base, then lambasts fake news for running a story based on a rumor.

Taking low odds on that actually happening.

More likely we'll just pull out, most states/counties/cities won't change anything, and the next president will reverse the executive decision.

More to the point, it's decidable purely by the executive branch because it's not a treaty/act of Congress. It would be nice to focus some energy on that.

I do think that there is a line as I described where he can turn it into quite a bit of political capital, though. Hopefully someone around him snags his ear, presumably by flattering him and then slipping the form to sign in front of him before he notices what he's signing.
