I had a dream last night that when I logged onto the website I saw my username on the giveaway timer thing. Hopefully that was a sign.

Pretty much. If you've ever done any closed beta testing for games for an extended period, you'd be surprised at what exactly can happen when the floodgates are opened, so to speak.

I was in the Guild Wars 2 closed beta; I had a lower end PC at the time; it ran masterfully.
Once it went into open beta and beyond, it only had more problems to correct; the baseline
wasn't even perfect by then, so they had problems upon problems with optimization that they're still shifting through while also adding on content.

In Path of Exile, you have a ton of content and obviously a smaller albeit passionate team.
I believe I read that the open beta was slated for December/January, so it's not that much longer. It's the only reason I'm hesitant to buy into the beta due to the impeding wipe.

Want it so bad that i will try in this thread :)
