Thanks! But btw is there a way to not use that much regrets? It's just my second char and I'm not that rich haha and also I'm fine with using SRS as my skill for leveling :D

You can stick with SRS and level life based.
You'll almost be fine with the free respec points.

How essential is melee splash if I can get 50 weapons out consistently. I have a 2r2b2g +1 gems corrupted skin of loyal and a level 4 empower but wanted to try the cwc setup. Was thinking something like wither, cwc, animate weapon, empower, minion damage, added chaos. The nice thing about this setup is that you end up with a level 27 added chaos and still get to go cwc but I don't know much running without melee splash will hurt. Thoughts?
(EDIT: I would need to trade it for a 4b1r1g now that I think about it.)

Nope, it's not. It's more like QoL improvement, but at self - defence cost. Cloak of Tawm'r Isley got max 500es, Vaal regalia can reach 1000es, so difference is huge.

Zizaran is using Vaal Regalia and got like 18k es in this build :
