How are the dps stats? How does it compare to lioneye or vs the classic rare 400+ pdps crit harbingers?

With charges and flasks up, I have over 21k tooltip dps. However, I do not yet have the last two ascendancy points. It should increase the DPS by a significant amount.
Maybe something usefull to add. It seems to me that the new boots "voidwalker" could work well with this bow.
It guarantees the piercing when phasing. Only long boss fights might cause troubles. (can probably be solved somewhat by using a quartz flask). That could free up those pierce nodes. :)
Would also help evasion builds by giving that dodge chance. Gives no resists or life though.
Any thoughts on it?

Its nowhere near the 400 pdps crit harbs which ar on pair with 280pdps Reach. And its probably better than lioneyes because it doesnt have retarded "Projectiles cannot be evaded".

you realise that projectiles cannot be evaded means you never miss your enemy, right
It's hard to remember what you have forgotten

Why are police looking for missing people? None of them were missing last time I saw them

From what I understand, people do not like it because it also means you cannot evade reflect damage. With flasks and the like, sure, it might be do-able to survive a big crit on a reflect monster. Still, it's definitely more difficult.

The boots are definitely usable. However, my current setup is very tight on resists because of all the uniques that do not give resists. If you replace one of them or find resistances elsewhere, then you can use those boots. Of course, getting phasing constantly is also kind of annoying. It'd be easier with Pathfinder or Raider, but Raider is better for elemental builds and I personally prefer Assassin's passive to Pathfinder's. If you do replace one of the other uniques for Voidwalker, you'd have to make sure the 3 points you save and the extra gem you slot makes up for the loss of whatever unique you replaced, the flask you replaced for Quartz, and the pierce gem's damage.
Arrows cannot chain or fork if they pierce first and this bow is designed to use all 3 of them, thus having 100% pierce before anything else is a waste.

This is true. However, utilizing all three heavily limits your gem slots and single target damage (as chain and fork supports both lower your damage). Furthermore, I am fairly certain that if you just hit one enemy and it chains, they will not be hit by the piercing bleed. Tornado Shot with GMP and 100% pierce already has a good amount of AoE. It's possible to utilize all chain and fork with Deadeye, but I personally like Assassin's passives a bit more. It allows for one to deal slower, bigger hits, which scale bleed better.
I am doing a similar build with Barrage and Slivertongue and was thinking about my 6th link.
Right now, it's Barrage - Phys Proj - Slower Proj - FA - Inc Crit.

Thought about going for Rapid Decay, as you describe it, but I am not entirely sure it works. When I link it, I don't get the symbol on my skill, it doesn't appear in the character screen and the mana of the skill doesn't change (which with a 125% multiplier it should).

Are you sure that Rapid Decay actually works for skills without the Duration tag?

I have yet to get a six link yet, so I am not sure. If it doesn't work, PPAD, Life Leech, or Slower Proj.
Hey thanks for posting this guide dude! Im doing a similar slivertonque assassin build.
Question: Why do you pick Deadly Infusion over Assassinate?
