" Crazy high chaos resist. I spent about 15 minutes chipping away his health but the orbs that put permanent slow pools on the ground act as a sort of DPS check. Eventually I got hit by too many one shot mechanics and lost my portals. My dps was significantly slower than uberdans video |

hi i've been using Eye of chayula for stun immunity with kinda best option for CI build IMHO and i just got "80% chance to Avoid being Stunned if you've Killed Recently" option on my boots.
I've read that ES build basically has 50% to avoid stun chance so adding 50%+80% seems like decent regardless of w/e calculation form. Is it also a good choice to drop chayula and boost some chaos dmg + energy shield + resits? |

EDIT: Nevermind, not quite enough scaling to get poison quite where it needs to be on shaper as a support gem, was thinking there was more than there was.

Almost 29k ED damage now, back to Vortex and winning. Running through T12-T13 maps with great ease right now, ALMOST level 90, which will be my highest character ever. Best/most fun build I played, as it fits my playstyle perfectly.
How much of a difference in DPS will a 21/20 ED, and a lvl 4 Empower make going from 20/20 and a lvl 3? Also plan on getting a 40% more damage on my helmet at some point as well. Hopefully I can push around 35k+ dps or so with ED, but right now 28k is working just fine :) EDIT: Here is my build so far.

Plan on going down 2 nodes from the Charisma set and grab the Projectile speed/damage, which would also give me 30 more dex so I could dump the enchant on my boots or necklace for something more worth while. Made the mistake of using a bow base that required lots of dex, so guys... don't do that.... One other thing to test is crafting jewelry with essence of envy for up to 60% more chaos damage

Thanks for posting this build! I started as a Necro EDer, but I discovered I disliked the continual need to cast bone offering, so I abandoned the character in favor of a lazy firestormer. With the help of some respec points, my ED witch will be back on track with this build as a guide.
A few questions: 1) Why do you need 20% faster recharge on the ring? According to the wiki, ES recharge delay = 200/(100+faster start total). 150% from Soul Strike, 15% from tree>> 200/265=.75 150% from Soul Strike, 15% from tree, 20% from ring>> 200/285=.70 Does the .05 faster feel better? I am honestly asking b/c I haven't gotten that far yet and it seems like a negligible difference on paper. 1b) You could just pick up a jewel node and a jewel with 6% faster start if you rolled at least 14 on the ring? Build didn't seem that point strapped that this would be an issue. 2) Your tree indicates taking extra 6% es nodes before taking Thief's Craft (+30 Int.)
