As the guy above said, i believe you can get better dps with other skills than Cyclone
Cyclone is good because of stun immunity but when i use it sometimes i just stop or go out of range of the boss, maybe im bad because its my first time using cyclone
then i tried using Lacerate, i think i saw someone on YT doing Shaper with it and its op, i almost tripled the speed of killing bosses using it
with 5L Multistrike>Add Accuracy>Lacerate>Inc Critical>Faster att, and on t10 maps im destroying bosses a lot faster than Cyclone

i feel like cyclone is just obsulete its just a go to for people now a days
but is no longer the best choice then
lacerate viper strike double strike static strike molten strike all let me proc 3 times faster then cyclone
and with 50% stun enchant and 40ish% interruption rate down nodes AND kiara's determination
I see that many dont use The Vertex helm, what are the pros and cons with using that helm ?
I'm using The Vertex still since it's an easy 330+ ES helmet and I hit the 8% discharge radius uber lab enchant for it. It's really just a cheap solution in a build that has some fairly big expenses so I'm not in a hurry to upgrade when I still need a Vinktar's Flask, multi-modded rings, and a +1 end charge belt. Even without all this, I can do T15 maps fine.
Ideally, the best in slot helmet once you have a Level 3 Enlighten is a 350++ ES hubris circlet with accuracy and resists and The Vertex gives you none of that other than pretty good ES.
The reason to use The Vertex mostly is the cheap ES and you only need a Level 2 Enlighten gem to run two curses + discipline (also linked to a separate Level 2 Enlighten).
