I used two level 1 swords to kill Merveil... Had to buy two swords in Act 2 and they were "WONDERFUL" upgrades. The fact my physical damage was so low meant that Hatred did absolutely nothing to help. Glad I did decently with low level damage output. Spoiler http://twitch.tv/carpola - Check me out!
