Is this build for you?

1. You want to play a super duper fast meta build but don't want to invest a ton of currency

2. A build that allows you to level as itself without any external abilities required

3. If the build you seek can start with a very low budget with possible upgrades for higher currency

4. If you enjoy having too much currency due to the higher budget version of this design is stupidly cheap

5. If you prefer a build guide that has a video linked to it

Defence & Utility

The build is utilizing Blasphemy together with Enfeeble to mitigate a lot of damage together with the block chance applied to spells and block from both Stone of Lazhwar & Rathpith Globe.

Outside of that we are using a 4L Lightning Warp with Faster Casting - Less Duration as well as Rapid Decay for optimal speed on our movement spell.

Skill-gems & Setups:

Flameblast:

- Flameblast, Controlled Destruction, Increased AoE, Fire Penetration, Empower, Faster Casting
You can remove Faster Casting for Concentrated Effect or Item Rarity since we barely charge the Flameblast after the initial proc of Elemental Conflux. If you can't get or can't afford an Empower lvl 3 or higher, use Concentrated Effect in that slot instead!

Elemental Overload proccer - Orb of Storms:

- Orb of Storms, Increased Criticial Strikes, Increased AoE

Cast When Damage Taken:

- Cast When Damage Taken, Immortal Call, Tempest Shield, Increased Duration

Lightning Warp:

- Lightning Warp, Faster Casting, Less Duration, Rapid Decay

Blasphemy:

- Blasphemy, Enfeeble + Portal

Utility + AA:

- Rallying Cry, Vaal Haste, Increased Duration + Arctic Armour
Make sure to NOT have Arctic Armour linked with Increased Duration or it will reserv more mana with no actual gain from it.

Skill-tree & Ascendancy Nodes:

Ascendancy Nodes:
Start with taking "Shaper of Desolation" which gives you Elemental Conflux combined that with the "Beacon of Ruin" and you have the build enabling stuffs sorted. I usually wait till I'm around lvl 50-55 and at that point I'll do both Normal & Cruel lab together as you barely benefit from Normal lab till you get the Cruel lab done as well.
Then I wait till I'm around lvl 70+ and do Merciless lab with my gear sorted. Then I pick up "Paragon of Calamity" to make me safer vs Elemental Reflect.
Uber Lab I do after LvL 80+ with gear sorted, you can probably do it a lot sooner but I prefer to rather be safe than sorry. At this point you can pick up either "Pendulum of Destruction" or "Liege of the Primordial" it completely depends on how you prefer to play the build yourself.

A few notes:

1. Wait with Heart of Flame till you feel that you need more damage and focus on all the life nodes before smacking up the rest of the damage.

2. You can go to the shadow starter area first if you wish, the general skill-tree is very straight forward.

Leveling Tips:

1. Use Fire Trap / Freezing Pulse till you can equip yourself with Firestorm & Flame Totem then use those to level with till you can equip yourself with Flameblast and go from that from there.

2. Items such as Goldrim, Lifesprig, Wunderlust helps a lot to speed up the leveling process.

3. If you get a Tabula Rasa early on, I'd recommend using Elreon jeweleries early on to ease up on the mana cost.

Bandits:

- Normal: Help Oak: 40+ Life.
- Cruel: Kill them all for 1 extra skill point.
- Merciless: Kill them all for 1 extra skill point.

3. Armour & Evasion
4. ES

Offensive Stats:

1. Spell Damage
1. Area Damage
2. Burning Damage
2. Damage over Time

2x Seething Divine Life Flasks <w/e sufix>
1x Ample Eternal Life Flask of Staunching
1x Ample Divine Mana Flask <w/e sufix>
1x Ample Quicksilver Flask of Heat

How do you get mana back ? I can cast barely like 3-4 full size flameblasts and then I am already choking on my mana flask

do you think this could function self found? trying to come up with a build for the 48h flashback race. I would do normal and cruel lab to get Beacon and Shaper

Use a mana flask to sustain and once you get Elemental Conflux going you don't have to charge very much to kickstart it. If you're still having troubles, remove Arctic Armour till you get the lab enchant on your boots that leeches life & mana after killing enemies, that enchant itself is pretty much covering everything you need :)

Absolutely, I would suggest this build or my Trickster: ED & Contagion build for that!

Hey I just started in Prophecy after taking a break since mid-Perandus and I relly wanted to make a flameblast character.

Although I already levelled up a Shadow with Your Essence+Contagion build. But I really would like to play this build since I remember back in the day flameblast was the build I had the most fun playing.

Is it possible to play flameblast as a shadow in this patch? I searched on the shadow forums for a 2.3 flameblast but could not fint that. If it's possible, what ascendancy class should i take and how would the tree look like. Also, any other significant changes?

Would love if you could make a video fighting Uber Izaro..

I would rather go trickster ED/Contagion shadow than force shadowblast upon him.

I only did it without buffs up and to do so you ll simply use the same strategy as with all other bosses, you make sure you get that Elemental Conflux then the boss will burn super duper fast. So simply kite till there are skellies, kill em and burn him. :)
