[2.3] Explosive Arrow Elementalist Witch [PSC] RETIRED
Using Hyrris Because when im clearing non-boss mobs I feel my defenses are more the adequate but an extra bit of AOE and attack speed is quite nice for the AOE setup. I still use a rearguard for my single target setup because every bit of defense helps against the new difficulty of bosses.
I speced in and out of acrobatics but I prefer the larger life offered by staying armour based also I can cap block with my current gear in any case with Rumis. 1.) Reflect Is now a concern no doubt but never run ele weakness unless you are overcapped if you are gonna run a -max map you'll have to identify the rare monster before spamming not brainless spam. Essence has the opportunity to get reduced reflected damage that could be incredible but hard to get. I also switch to a ruby with extra duration I can sustain it map long so that helps a lot. Don't five stack either its not necessary any way. 2.) Bosses I absolutely shit on them its ridiculous even in Shapers Realm I have single target DPS that rivals Blade Vortex. But I am using an Ignite focused setup. I can 1 shot t14 palace Dominus with 70% extra life kind of single target atm. 3.) Life Regen is 250 Per second, low however I have a leech enchant on my boots so for pack clear I don't notice for bosses it feels fine because you spam five stacks and kite if needed allowing time to regen also once again the leech enchant helps a lot. 4.) Okay good question well I use overload because Explosive Arrow explosion has its own crit chance similar to that of a spell and the attack component has its own crit chance. But since we attack close to 6 attack per second and even without a single crit node we have the 11% crit chance if we total the 5% from quill rain arrow and 6% from the explosion so all we need to do is get a single crit within 8 seconds to sustain overload some quick napkin maths 11% * 6 * 8 = 5,28 crits over 8 seconds in total. And this MORE multiplier applies to Elemental Damage making it work on the ignite burn aswell as the initial hit. While if we kept crit multi it could make our initial hits larger on occasion but also makes a freak crit on a reflect pack very dangerous and doesn't increase the burn damage. I have so far cleared all the Guardians with nasty mods and the Shaper although he got me 3 times because of some misplays also had no issues with Uber Atziri just stay clear of the mirror clone. I will make a build guide with videos at some stage but as it is im testing on standard level gear so its not exactly a league friendly setup more end game standard type thing but will do both when I am satisfied with its quality. view-thread/1694128 Explosive Arrow 2.4 Pathfinder STD League view-thread/1765907 CI Claw Reave Assassin 2.4 Endgame STD League GMT +2 Last edited by Misaka_Railgun_Mikoto#7777 on Sep 18, 2016, 3:29:07 PM

" Ok I had a look you didn't take Elemental Equillibrium to give some perspective It when used correct with with of arrows curse on hit OR frenzy if you want literally triples the ignite damage. Defense wise I would spec out some flask nodes right by ranger start. Grab more life nodes, a pool of at least 7k is what you want I am running a Legacy Kaom's atm but I am fiddling with optimal life node usage I did take my spare Standard Kaoms and still cleared Shaper. Also I would consider swapping your life flasks, run one instant because of clutch situations and one Eternal with Sapping, check out my item display in my signature for my exact flask use. In fact the Sapping Eternal is soo damned strong I have dropped my Instant heal all together after 2 Shaper runs yesterday I can safely say when its needed the Eternal Sapping is just insane heal combined with our overall flask power and how long it last I mean I can stand in Shapers laser and out heal it. As the main premise of the build is flask power its important to get it right the main build style is used by the top PVP'ers who put soo much emphasis on flasks honourable mention to Ahfack since I started to see the light with regards to HP flask power. Also a side note since we are Immune to Bleed and Elemental Status Ailments, I think a remove curse flask is most useful since I like to curse Atziri for example and don't want the curse reflect backlash I run remove curses hp. Back to the defense question flasking effectively will of course always be important like time it so you dont overlap usage I'm sure you know this of course I just notice a lot of people for at the wrong times dont use your quicksilver up for example when its not a clutch situation in a boss fight. view-thread/1694128 Explosive Arrow 2.4 Pathfinder STD League view-thread/1765907 CI Claw Reave Assassin 2.4 Endgame STD League GMT +2 Last edited by Misaka_Railgun_Mikoto#7777 on Sep 19, 2016, 2:27:45 AM
