" Not in the future, it's already active. I didn't read anything about the value of that suffix being adjusted, so it should be safe to divine it without unexpected effects. Just in case, check the value range with Alt before doing so. Cheers. PLEASE QUOTE ME IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A REPLY

"I'm not aware of any official posts on the subject. There's a post somewhere which collects developer emails on the subject, that I can't find right now. My understanding of the rules is: * Macros must be manually activated by the player. They cannot use any sort of trigger or timer. * Macros can only perform a single server-side action each time they're invoked. Server-side means e.g. using a skill, using a flask, or sending a chat message. Client-only actions such as opening inventory or typing in the chat box are permitted as well, but actually sending a server-side message is server-side. Using multiple flasks at once is multiple server-side actions, so you can't have a macro do that. * No automation is allowed. Macros cannot conditionally perform actions or select between multiple actions, so e.g. a macro that rotates between flasks, or uses Immortal Call only when you have five Endurance Charges, is prohibited. * It's irrelevant how the macro is implemented, whether it's hardware, software, or (to quote a developer example) a popsicle stick glued to your flask keys. |

What is the range of the spells? Are spells ranged tools or non-ranged ("melee") tools? Or something intermediate? Range varies among spells?
From what distance can my character create an orb, or curse, or any spell? One page mentioned that in order to apply curse from distance, he used a Frenzy gem, a Curse on hit support gem, and a Flammability curse gem. From what distance need one a bow skill to carry a curse? |

Blade Blast Questions
I have two questions about Blade Blast. I currently have Bladefall in a totem setup, and I'm self-casting Blade Blast with all of the damage of both skills converted to fire. Question 1: If I detonate a blade that was placed in the ground by a totem and it crits, what's the source of the crit? Is it me, the totem, or the blade that's exploding? This is relevant for EO and right now it seems like maybe only the initial cast of Blade Blast is able to trigger it and I just want to clarify. Question 2: How do crit rolls work for the explosions from blades in the ground? Do they "inherit" the crit roll from the initial cast (i.e. initial cast doesn't crit, so no secondary explosions crit)? Does each secondary explosion roll independently? Basically, I'm just trying to figure out why EO isn't triggering as often as it seems like it should given the number of explosions that are happening. If I'm not the 'source' of the secondary explosions, then everything makes sense. Thanks! Last edited by PopGen#6967 on Mar 14, 2020, 6:25:13 PM

I have a question about the new notable "supercharge", which states that my non-crit lightning damage is lucky. How does this interact with damage conversion? Is my base lightning damage lucky, and then it gets converted? Or is my final damage lucky, and if (for simplicity) 100% of that lightning damage is now cold, this damage would not be lucky anymore?
Thanks for taking the time to answer my question :) |

"As far as I'm aware, the damage dealt by Blade Blast is solely from Blade Blast, and the source of the lingering blades is irrelevant. I could be wrong, but nothing on the skill gems seems to say otherwise. "Damage ranges are converted to their appropriate types first, then the damage is rolled within each range. So damage converted from Physical to Lightning would be Lucky, but damage converted from Lightning to other types would not. "Yes, Mines use your skills and your modifiers. |

Few questions.
1. are the values of monster life on the wiki (gamepedia) accurate? They have a table on the site but wanted to make sure, or perhaps this isn't the right place to ask. 2. what is the definition of a pack in poe? 3. is there a set number of mobs per pack? 4. is there a set number of packs per map, or per certain maps? 5. if there is a set number is it constant, is it constant per mob type? or is it a number drawn in a range? ie. (10-12 mobs)/pack based on rng. 6. i understand certain mob types have certain resistances that are constant. can the same be said for monster life per mob type or but are each of their individual life pools randomly generated from a range a values in other words, is it safe to say that lvl 80 common (no mod) slave driver with no map mods will always have the same hp as another slave driver with the same conditions? 7. what causes certain mob types to spawn in certain maps? are mob types tied to a map tag? or map tile set? how can i learn more? 8. how are mob types chosen for a generated map? is there a pool for which it randomly draws? thanks if you can respond to any of my questions. |
