well that's the problem there isn't really a good solution to this. The only thing i can think of would either be ass mark + herald of ice + curse on hit or using frenzy gem linked with PCoC and shoot every now and then to refill charges


I admittedly run out of power charges every now and again, but when you're moving fast enough and firing enough volleys, remember that 1 in 20 volleys is not a crit and you have a chance at a power charge for every enemy you hit with that non-crit volley (though it's capped at 1 power charge per volley, of course). So if you're firing 2 volleys per pack and kill 10 packs within your power charge duration, you probabilistically can barely maintain max charges.

And when you run out, hey, at least it's pretty fast to get your charges back up.

Tangentially, everyone without secondary power charge generation methods should make sure to avoid overcapping crit chance as much as possible. You want to be able to generate those power charges as fast as possible to get the extra crit multi that assassins get from each charge. I'm only 0.08% overcapped with max charges up.

Not overcapping can be a disadvantage in the uber atziri fight when you're likely not hitting max charges for most of the fight, but if you're really that obsessed with having max charges then you should be spending resources on secondary power charge generation anyway (power charge on critical + frenzy was a good idea; I should really side that in against uber atziri since I never use vaal haste against her).
When the leagues merge there's a simple solution for power/frenzy charges:



I'm using 5 power/3 frenzy charges and they're constantly up. That frees me to have Proj weakness and Vulnerability as my curses, I still have a frenzy/powerc. set up for bosses.

Btw, this build is not totally immune to reflect- I've died twice because of it, I have acro etc. I think we can do so much damage in one hit that you can't out leech it all the time without some extra mitigation. I have a basalt constantly up now but if that's not enough I'll have to get Taste of Hate also.

This is a rocking build, I'm really having a blast playing it..!

Found better pathing on skill tree that gives 4% more attack speed and 8% mmovespeed boost for same points spent. You kill all in cruel to make this happen instead of kraityn. Instead of taking point to duelist and ranger section of of Herbalism wheel we follow bottom of tree from Lethality to Dirty Techniques. Doing this path saves 2 skill point i found unnecessary to spend that only give access to ranger area early. but late game my way gives access to more move speed and evasion and physical damage with chance for onslaught for 3secs. Will update this with tree link later

do you also use cwdt + immortal call? cause i think that that's what maybe keeps me alive if i dont oneshot myself :)

Yes totally using it, porcupines have scarred me forever. :) I don't even have the 90% multi Facebreakers, I use Vuln on hit mali's to cap my crit because of this:


I have had also so many close calls w reflect till I just started dying to it, twice in 2 days, I think acro/arrow dancing does it's job brilliantly till just that one time everything fails. So I rolled a Basalt with evasion to see if that works, if I continue dying I will get ToH since I can't afford to lose a ring slot to Sybil's. I have 5k life with Vaal Pact.

hmm i dont understand how you can die to reflect then. Cause i only have 4,9k. What's your dps?

67k with golem and all charges up, no flasks etc. Those were the conditions I died in but I don't even remember if I had the charges at the time.

I think it was maybe due to evasion entropy..?

I'm using Hatred and Her of Ice too but I definitely died to phys ref so I gave you my phys dmg numbers.

What's your *unbuffed* evasion rating? Usually the evasion + dodge + CWDT & IC combo does the job brilliantly against physical reflect, but only if values are pretty solid.

I'm assuming it's about the same for all of us that use Cospri's: 45% chance to evade and 30% dodge with arrowdancing.

Honestly it's about the amount of damage and the amount of life, I had the same issue when I played any crit build with a good Harbinger (350pdps) and this build does 10K more damage. Evasion is not foolproof, you can't count on it as your only means to avoid reflect.

I've always had to balance my damage with a crit build or use some extra mitigation so I don't die constantly. But there's always that one reflect dropbear... :)

I have 62k dps with charges up and can't die to non-mapmod reflect at all.... Like, it's literally impossible unless I'm some kind of idiot and charge into a reflect mob right *after* immortal call triggers.

If immortal call triggered in the last 2 seconds... just be calm... don't attack reflect packs until the cooldown is over.... When the cooldown is over, all you have to do is kill the reflect mob in the 0.7 seconds you have for your next IC trigger....
