Nice build!

Have you tried mine + minefield for some increased aoe?

Hey thanks man!

Mines will definitely do better damage and are likely better for melting bosses, that being said in my experience traps clear maps much quicker than mines do given that we can just chuck them and forget about them. That's the main reason I go with traps, as I want my initial league build to be able to quickly get through most content.

But you could definitely do mines too if that floats your boat :)

Hope that helps! If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask!
Amazing build!

Is it worth to use Herald of Thunder instead of Ice if i wanna get more damage?

Hey thanks man!

You can use Herald of Thunder if you want, but the safety with chill+freeze on HoI is really nice as well as the huge damage on the ice explosion per kill. As well, if you are running Vaal Grace and the Chill of Corruption Gem, HoI is necessary to maintain permanent VG uptime. That being said HoT is definitely viable :)

Let me know if you have any other questions!
Hey danteis!

I was wondering if you are playing your build in the new Prophecy league - if so, can you show some progress and the changes you have made to it (if any); would be interesting to watch.

I also started to play your build on Prophecy today as my second character - going CI Assassin instead of Saboteur (but i have a feeling that Occultist actually might be better at late game)
I was leveling with Sunblast belt + 2 cheap contruction jewels (which basically gives "chain reaction") and bladefall traps and it worked really well.
Will transition to CI at level 70, hope the transition to Chin Sol goes well.

Hey!

Yeah I am, and sure thing dude. I'm putting together another vid for the coming week about prophecy updated. Haven't had a huge amount of time to play lately as my brother's visiting from out of town, but I should have it up soon :)

CI Assassin is definitely a viable alternative and one I'm going to try in the future too. I started the league with the build though and CI is a bit difficult to start with budget wise. I can promise the moment you throw down Chin Sol and Point Blank you'll start melting stuff :)

I'll let you know when the video is up! Thanks for the support.
Man, what an awesome build! I'm having so much fun with it this league.

A couple of questions though, if you don't mind:

Which end-game flasks would you recommend?

When / how do you use Assassin's mark? Since everything melts so fast, I feel it might only have a place in t12+ maps or uber?

Again, thank you for sharing this!

One question. Should I continue after blinding assault to Born in the shadows or to go for Explosive expert? I think Born in shadows is really good choice, but tell me your opinion. Thanks in advance and great build ;)

Hey glad you're liking it!

Flask wise I try to run a stibnite/quartz depending on which you prefer, a diamond flask to crit as much as possible when using conc effect especially, atziri's promise/quicksilver depending on whether you need some more damage or clearspeed/survivability and two health pots. One of the health pots instant for those "Oh shit" moments, and the other just a general health pot. Also make sure to have a freeze and one or two bleed between all your flasks :)

For the curses, I just make a habit of cursing as a throw down a trap. You're right though. Honestly for maps up to t13 even, most mobs don't stand a chance and it doesn't matter, but for bosses/maps with elemental resists, Assassin's Mark or Elemental Weakness work really well :) I do tend to go for Assassin's Mark over Ele Weakness to try to ensure I crit with conc-effect on for bosses.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions and thanks for the kind words!

Great question! I'm honestly not too sure yet. I'm just about to do Uber Lab for the first time and I'm personally going to be going with Born in the Shadows mainly because I feel as if I have enough damage as is, and both do give a nice boost to damage anyways while Born in the Shadows provides more survivability not only through the 6% reduced damage, but through the extra 4% movement speed. That being said both are totally viable :) Let me know how it goes either way and I'm glad you're enjoying the build!
Prophecy updates are up! Pale Court and Uber Lab down in a 25c budget and only 4-links.
