I'm running this build in ESC. I have higher dps than the OP (running more crit multi) and it doesnt destroy very high tier bosses quickly. We don't have any way to speed up killing high hp bosses, now that VMS is patched (self casting a 20/20 ele weakness curse currently).

Its absolutely one of the fastest map clearer builds currently. But if you want to do the highest map tier bosses comfortably, go with a 40ex BV build. If you value clear speed, this is unrivaled. If you value boss killing speed... Go with BV.

What is your crit. chance for HOI?

or do we need 95% crit. to make the build works?

Fuex pretty much summed things up well. HoI has around 60-65% crit chance depending on your level/power charges.

Thought I would give an udpate. So far I've made it to level 87 with this build. It is so much fun, like omg making the screen just explode, nuking everything on screen and off screen brings me immense joy, like you have no idea, (ok maybe you do lol). I'm up to tier 12 maps now and clearing them without any real issues which is great. The clear speed this build has is just amazing.

I got my hands on an amulet with additional curse and swapped out power charge on the weapon with frostbite. I think this is the best option? If there is something better, let me know!

It seems the build works without much crit...

@Sloth - nice man, I especially like that neckpiece! Frostbite works great - you can do that or even run ele weakness on hit gloves instead of the assassins mark, and place the assassins mark in the weapon.

@Drusek Just watched the wormblaster - he's definately got a shit tonne of hp. With the harvest, and a crit gem, you can make BV have 8% base crit chance, close to 300% crit chance from weapon, 100% from gem, and 150% from pcharges. thats 550%, or 6.5 x 8 = 52% crit with zero investment in the tree.

He uses a level 1 BV to do minimal damage so that it hits the worms several times to gain charges before killing and exploding with HoI.

I would say my build can do substantially higher damage - and on bosses and such I can run to gain the same AoE he has.

His build seems like something you would use on HC.

do you NEED the assassins mark gloves? or can I put in a gem somewhere?

and do you mind telling me exactly whats MANDATORY to make this build work in terms of gear/gems?
Though for gear pretty straight forward im just guessing The Harvest, 3 Writhing flasks, Doedre's, and I think thats it?

1) Yea the only mandatory items are the harvest, doedre's, and worm flasks.

2) Look for Jewels with life, cold damage, increased damage, area damage, crit multiplier. Try to get at least 2 damage multipliers with life.

Also I have another question what does flask effect do for you? more worms? or just for the extra hp on worm flasks? or does it help doedre's do more damage?

Also would assassin's mark be better or frostbite?

And what could I do to get more boss damage? :O
