Hi, and sorry for the late reply...

I don't think this build is particularly suitable for HC, not more than any other totem builds. You get a lot of freedom of movement with any totem build, and can evade (manually) a lot of damage, but this build isn't very tanky. I don't play HC myself, so can't really say for certain.

I'd start using the spark totem when you get Ancestral Recall. This is generally the case for most dual-totem builds.

Is there any particular reason you opted to not have any critical nodes?
