[2.3] The Eraser - An Ice Nova Build - 200k+ dps & amazingly fast clear speed

Mantis if you are having trouble leveling and want to chat let me know but this build has one of the highest possible dps outputs. On tool tip the damage goes up tremendously with charges up, then add in flasks and curses an the way nova and herald of ice overlap and you can reach insane numbers. Before level 60 you don't even have the right gear to make full use of this build including the primary component of the build, the pledge of hands staff. I think it's more likely the setup you evolved into during leveling is giving you issues which won't be a universal issue, but it's also an issue I can help you with if you like.

Also, like I have told Kilsum privately already the primary defense of this build is relying on constantly being in a position to aoe which will net huge life leech gains along with mana leech gains but will also kill entire packs in a single nova volley. This build is meant for people who want to clear maps as quickly as possible but also enjoy the fun of knowing their defense rests in the hands of their play/skill level. It is definitely fast paced but that keeps your attention glued and your heart beating which just encourages you to keep pushing the limits of how fast your moving. Teleporting out of damage and into packs while constantly feeding off the damage for life and mana is what made this build so fun for me. As part of my defense for reflect packs, which are the only real drawback I have found for this build so far, I rely a bit on my hatred flask. Just like how quickly I regen mana and life I also regen flask charges nonstop which lets me keep an almost constant up time on the damage buff increase but all the cold resistance from the flask. The flask with the life leech is what keeps me alive. You can even see me hit a reflect pack in one of my map videos in this thread, it's actually really early in one of them.

If anyone needs help with the build I don't mind at all going over things with you specific to your characters. But this build will require you to play like you turned the game on hard mode, but I find the pay off is very fun, fast paced, and rewarding.

I can clearly see power of this build with all the skill links working, but really end of act 3 and act 4 at normal are such a pain. I keep dying on almost every boss, and ranged creeps (like 4-handed shooters at the end of solaris temple in act 3). Lightning warp is very slow, curse on hit and cast when damage taken is higher level than me.
Until u have all the links like in build, and also leveled Enlightens (and, prefferably, Empower) - it is almost not playable.

Since new league will start in about a month, probably i'll leave the idea of leveling shadow mage till the next league x.x
