[2.3]Dela's Obliterate Build CHEAP & FAST clears 200% life UPDATED

I tried this build as my first this league because it looked cool in the video, and so far, it hasn't disappointed me. Thanks for sharing it!
It is tremendous fun to play! I use Elementalist and just turned level 71 and can easily run tier 3 maps already. My rather crappy gear ATM (I'm proud of the chest though, bought it cheap and had some crafting luck):

Groups of normal or magic foes go down in no time, rares and bosses need some frostwalling to do away with them (haven't tried the Wither totem yet). The kill speed now exceeds my Bladefall used for leveling.
The only downside is the defence ATM, but that will probably change with better gear and Acrobatics.

Currently building to Pathfinder/Raider, how bad is missing the area notes from witch?

I just hit lvl 73 with this as a Elementalist. I'm not really sure if I like this yet. On one side its great when you explode big portions of the map, but other times I feel that this build is lacking the initial damage. If I meet a pack of magic(blue) monsters with increased health, say its the rock giants. I struggle to get the initial kill. Aleast when one or two come at me, instead of a pack.

If I have to put up a totem, and FW every time a tougher magic monster comes by, I think its a flaw in this build. I can cope with it at bosses.

My question is this. How do you scale the KB damage, does it get alot better at 300% chaos damage?
I'm currently at 264%

I know I have alot of improvements when it comes to jewels and gear.

Could someone help me getting a better understanding between Raider and Deadeye?
What's it compared damage-wise?
What's it compared defence-wise?
Would the evasion bonus from the Raider ascendancy benefit the Queen Of The Forest chest a lot more than the Deadeye?

Any other thoughts on these two?

closing in on lvl 89 and its working very well so far
skilltree ( depending on if u got crit rings u might wanna skill out of the dual wield crit cluster, and more life if u dont get alot from gear )

the build is def viable with all kinds of asc classes, i choosed assasin, the dmg over time nodes + free crit cap seemd a great way to help with the impact dmg
i feel what u mean with high hp targets but it did get better for me after i had a decent setup
i only got 23x chaos dmg also

2 jewels atm lil life/chaos dmg and the other with phys dmg/chaos dmg

I have a shadow i would like to switch to this but after reading I am still unclear why the crit is awesome for a build that doesn't use crit. I want to know if it is worth regretting the shadow or just rolling a new witch. I'm not a fan of starting over so early though so if the shadow is fine I will roll with it. Sorry if this was already explained. Thanks for the response in advance and a chance to use your exciting build!

pretty self explaining, more dot dmg, a crit yields in more chaos dmg/phsn dmg on impact/over time

95 crit with nearly no effort, iam using only rats nest and crit on amu wich is fairly low compared to other crit builds who invest in a shotloads of nodes/crit items

option for facebreakers wich would yield roughly 380 crit multi lil more/less

but yea iam not sure i never rly took a closer look at the other ascendancy classes for this build, so i cant rly tell u if its the best

but since i wanted to play a crit build i went with it

Could you please post your current gear and tree? I'm leveling a Shadow in Prophecy to test the Assassin Ascendancy and got also 1k DPS at level 47 in act2 cruel with two Twyzel wands, a 5 link chest (kinetic blast / gmp / pierce / added chaos / faster attacks) and running Herald of Ice + Clarity.

You can improve your DPS with chaos damage or physical damage on rings and amulet, using facebreaker gloves or by running Blood Rage for more attack speed and frenzy charges (if you have enough life regeneration)

So my current passive tree is following:

And I'm running the following gear:


My usual run is something like:
Herald of Ash + Clarity + Golem.
Before first pack I pop bloodrage and then I try to keep myself alive and running until the end of the map.

I've managed to bump my DPS to around 3.6k (with 4 frenzy charges) but it still feels a bit low.
Also survivability is trash, I currently can't keep the bloodrage up without flasking / killing a lot for the bloodrage life leech.

I'd looking for advice on the following:
1. My passives... What should I take in next 10 levels? The life circle is pretty far down.
2. My gear... I need something to boost my damage. What items should I see to change which could be under budget of 10c or so.
3. My skills... I'm not sure I'm running it right. I'm not using withering (mainly because it would slow me down way too much). Am I missing some curses / auras? Important links? (Also to note that I'm running Kinetic blast with slower projectile instead of poison because of the dmg boost from slower projectiles. Should I switch to poison?)

Thanks for posting this. Which acendancy points did you take last, deadly infusion or toxic delivery? I have been leveling mainly with essence drain so took most of the dot nodes. I intend to still grab the dual wield crit cluster in duelist but path back up through witch instead. I doubt the dot nodes will be worth it once I switch to KB though...
