[2.3] CoC Cyclone Discharge Trickster! HC/Level 100 Viable!
" Are you sure about this mate? I did some thinking, and for example I'm lvl 89 and I see no problem in building and keeping up charges even on bosses fight. I think that this enchantment is very usefull only in the case your attack speed is so high that it chews on charges faster than it builds them. On the opposite side, Damage is always there. What do you think? This is quite an important question, if in future we decide to mirror a Helmet.. Last edited by JasonSeerose#0718 on Jul 1, 2016, 9:25:20 AM

" Easy there mate. Tbh, its not brain surgery to open poe.trade, type in "voll's devotion" and press "enter". For most of us, doing that is easier especially considering you've been playing for over 3 months. Learn quickly, its easy :) " I've been a little stumped regarding this as well. More charges vs Higher dmg with whatever charges you have. It's the same issue with blade vortex vs concentrated effect for single target as 6th link in chest. (For mob clear, nothing beats Inc AOE but its not like its absolutely necessary). Anyway, every uber atziri video/character I've seen being done by CoC discharge after 2.3 seems to use blade vortex as 6th link for the charge generation as well as flask refilling (multiple crits) and there's none (atleast not that I know of) that has killed/kills uber easily using conc effect which makes it a lot less convincing. Maybe OP can do uber atziri and post a video for comparison. I personally like the "% increased discharge damage" more than the "chance for no charge consumption". But if I get the "chance for no charges consumed" enchant, I wouldn't bother with blade vortex because I feel it would be an overkill. If I get "increased radius of discharge", I might consider dropping inc aoe gem. Would love to hear OP's thoughts on this if he has experimented with this. Heya everyone!
I'm a new player among CoC builds, and so far, they all seems so fascinating! Recently done Lioneye's Avalanche build to some extent, but I'm not really that happy with the survivability, especially early on. So that pushed me to discover new posts, new builds to troddle upon, and here I am, with a few questions in mind to anyone that has done this or to OP, master Grocery, himself. How... durable is this build? Easy to die, need to watch out yourself a lot or faceroll most of the things? How far up in the maps can you go pretty carelessly? How about the "special" maps, such as the Pale Council or Atziri's both variants? How's the Izaro, especially with the new Uber version? Hard to do or sub-par with the increasingly popular Juggernaut builds waiting to get nerfhammered? Wouldn't want to take another fall because something seems so good on paper, yet, doesn't really deliver unless you just throw money at it blindlessly. I got a formidable base to afford some of the items, except the amulet, which comes at a staggering cost so far. With kind regards, Fiilguud. Edit: How does this fare in 2.3? Vid's date to 2.2, any significant changes? Last edited by KrazyFruit#4769 on Jul 1, 2016, 5:03:06 PM

" Funnily enough, the answer is yes to all of your questions. Easy to die? Yes. If you stay still for more than 2 seconds, you're dead. Need to watch out? Yes, reflect monsters and tiny stones that stop cyclone movement.(xD) Faceroll most of the things? Yes. Atziri (Both normal and uber), Lab (merc and uber), Pale council, Dual t15's. Its facerolling mania for all of these things. You can EASILY get up to 10k Energy shield on this build and the leech is amazing. Once you get voll's, the leech becomes even more amazing. To play on safe side, you can get leech on boots and it will just guarantee your safety as long as you keep spinning. " Carelessly, hmmm, I'd say almost all maps until you reach the boss i.e. For careless bosses, I'd say you can tank almost everyone as long as u use the right flasks and know the mechanics. (Don't go tanking a dominus smash without a topaz and basalt flask up, stuff like that.) Once you get your voll's devotion, your single target leech becomes VERY high and you can play with a little more ease. " Easy. Easy. Uber Atziri - Easy but requires levels and gear. I don't intend to attempt Uber atziri until I get 21 purities and +1 voidbringers. (I tend to play safe, but I don't think its necessary) " Build it mate, its not just good on paper, its amazing when put into action. Your main investment needs to be a hits cant be evaded dagger and voll's protector. (15c for volls and 5c for dagger). Get gear that caps your resistances and has the highest ES possible for less than 2 chaos each. I got them on the third day, you have a lot more choice now and can easily buy much better stuff. Two diamond rings, ammy, belt, shield, gloves, boots. (if you can afford it, get a voidbringers and steppan eard, these two items really make the build shine and are less than 40c combined). If you have capped resistances and ~6.5k ES, you can start mapping with ease. I was tearing through t9-t10 with just 7-7.5k ES. (Even for jewels, don't bother buying for more than 2c). You can farm everything you need after this. Runs some labs, map hard and you should have your amulet in 1-2 weeks. So yeah, don't worry. I was level 85 when I bought voll's and i could have easily levelled even further without it. I got a 6L at level 90. You only need about 30-35C to reach high levels with this build. " Nothing much. You can get two addition ascendancy points. People say it doesn't do much but I LOVE IT. Swift killer doesn't affect elemental equlibrium like people fear because of cyclone re-applying the debuff. But the addition of frenzy charges is so good. Even if you have a single frenzy charge, everything freezes and explodes around you. I love the freezing and exploding effect. That's pretty much all there is to it. CoC Discharge has been screamed at to be nerfed but it never has been because it's always taken a lot of effort (elreon rings, linked chest, voll's, etc) to get it working and optimized. But, now in this present case, I feel like it has become a little too easy to make a coc discharge character and gear him up for levelling. Heck, my coc discharger was my first char in PSC and I had ZERO problems moving in till t10 maps with a 5c dagger, 5L voll's protector. So, thanks to the trickster ascendancy, it has become a little too easy and I think, maybe, it might be nerfed. (this is just speculation.) TL:DR = Follow this build, It's awesome. Thank you, Le_Sanzo, for a swift and very thorough answer! Loved reading every single bit of it!
And thus, I also hate you a bit, for now I got something to really strive for. You completely sold this build to me. From tomorrow, I'll be start working on this and have rather great hopes. Already have a little experience with Cyclone, so it shouldn't be too difficult to overcome the changes :) Thanks again, and who knows, perhaps even see you ingame! PS. about the ease of getting into CoC - there's still the barrier of grinding to 70-ish. And if you go for an old char, then there's the respec cost. Besides, I think Juggernaut that everyone and their mother plays is more of a subject to nerf as of recent :) |

Can this build do uber atziri?
|

" Oh yeah, that's true. Very true. I used blade vortex till about level 30 and then used Bladefall to level after that (easier to level with bladefall cuz of its range allowing you to survive on crap white items). Transitioned to CoC at about level 55. (WORST DECISION). I'd recommend getting in at about level 60-65+. Hope you have fun, keep us updated about your build's progress and have fun mate. " Definitely yes. Free Atziri Service - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1458846 Last edited by Le_Sanzo#1806 on Jul 2, 2016, 2:19:35 AM

Hello, I've started doing this build now and gotta say its a blast.
I was thinking of some mod's tho, what do you guys thinking of using Malachai's loop for Energy Shield instead of the voll's breastplate while using shockimmune flask's. The shield is pretty good while the breastplate severely lacks anything else than the PC trigger. Just a thought. :) |

Hello guys,
Can u give me leveling tree 30/50/70. This is my first dis build and i dont have idea how to start play. Very thanks PS. Pls say me when i can do CI (lvl and what can i must have). |

" Level as life-based Caster. Take the hybrid ES/Life nodes, do most of the traveling and transfer to this build at ~70. |
