[2.3] CoC Cyclone Discharge Trickster! HC/Level 100 Viable!

What's the real difference between linking blade vortex or increase area effect / concentrated effect? I see some people link vortex I've personally never tried it and always used area effect gems and had no issues with getting charges.

you guys think this build gets nerfed anytime soon ? (2.3) ?

i try it out currently in flashback. got a 5l volls but no devotion, works nice and i really like it , never played discharge before, so its a ton of fun, would suck if ggg nerfs it in 2.3 :(

EDIT: thanks grocery for showing in the vid and text how to gear and build, enjoying your content very much !! keep up the work

This build is retarded, just plain retarded. It's probably the best build I ever tried. I did a level 71 t3 map at level 63 with no issues at all. Just face rolled it. My only gripe is I'm having a hard time getting enough crit to have discharge proc enough. I'm sitting at 34% and I have to use crit potion every so often which is no big deal but I rather not choose it. What crit % I need to get to have enough discharge procs without depending on the potion?

To be fair, many builds can faceroll T3 maps at level 60 with the right gear. As for your crit problems, you should aim for around 50% - 60% in town. Not that hard to acquire. I would suggest using Voidbringers and Diamond Rings if your not already using them. Make sure you have Increased Critical Strikes linked as well and hopefully you have six power charges. You will be having to use the Diamond Flask most of the time though as it is crucial for hitting the crit cap.

I do have void bringers (140% spell power crit) and a pair of diamond rings at 29% crit each and I'm just only at 36.4% crit. No where close to what I want it at.

what are your jewels? and crit % on your dagger? I'm only at 50% crit flat but I still use diamond flask for quick burst in dense mobs.

My dagger has 40% global and 23% crit. Yeah I don't have any jewels cause I don't have enough skill points so that would account for my current crit %. I forgot about them.
First off all: great guide/build!

My budget is really limited. My current gear:

The question is, how important the vegan dagger is...

Currently im using this one:

Any other suggestions regarding my gear? Feel free to add me (IGN: _aniolek_)

The dagger is gonna be pretty much mandatory to have smooth game play at mid-high lv. We have around 500acc?(not logged in atm)

If tight on budget look for a 1.4/1.45 aps "Slaughter Knife" "Boot blade" "Piogard" or "Royal Skean"<best option. Put Crit chance on it to bring it to the 8-8.4% Crit area. And either buy a ring/amulet or craft the "Adds #-# Cold damage to attacks" on amulet or ring. This way your not losing so much crit from dagger.
ie:
How much base crit should we expect from a generic CoC trickster?
since we forgo Rat's Nest and maybe maligaros for Voidbringers,
not getting crit nodes from daggers, wouldnt our cyclone crit be quite low?
If so, is Crit flask mandatory for our CoC?
