hello,

there is a quite similar guide with noncrit bladfall traps this guy uses heavy +%chaos dmg stuff like 2 mings hearts

can you rate whats better in your mind? crit+ power charges or noncrit and mings hearts

/edit link to the other guide https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1679157/page/1

i took a first look.

hes using a wand instead of a dagger which means no whirling blades and no poison proliferation
also mings has a big downside instead getting 70 max life per ring you will have 15% reduced life.
Thats a huge loss in imo.

all in all its a personal choise im sure his build is viable too but i prefer too have a bit more life since poison trapper in general don lack at dmg

Apologies if this question has been answered earlier in this thread, but I'm wondering whether this build is full key run Uber Lab viable?

Thanks! really fired up to try this build!

This depends on how well geared you are, what the itzaro fights are today, and how skilled your playhabits with the trapper is.

Damage wise itzaro will be down very fast but there is always the danger of getting oneshotted under the right conditions.

For making a braindead uber lab farmer i would more likely suggest a juggernaut, to avoid the danger of death and loosing the whole run.

edit: decoy totem is your best friend for uber itzaro

PATCHNODES ATLAS OF WORLDS.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on the just released patchnodes for the upcomming update Atlas of worlds in relation to the bladefall trapper build.

Actually there are just 2 points who effect this build (i hope i didnt missed anything) so lets go.

"

1. Poison now deals 8% of Physical and Chaos damage as Chaos Damage for 2 seconds (down from 10%). While we have future plans to fix Poison (addressing double dipping), this nerf brings it slightly more in line until we can make those changes.

Ok this lowers our base poison damage/sec by 20% and we need to see how much of an impact it will have (it surely lowers our dmg a bit) but dont forgett we still have the doubble dipping effect(for now) and the bladefall inital dmg on impact.

"
The trap/mine behaviour of Bladefall has been made more consistent with other traps/mines. The blades fall from the mine itself, not targeting the location where the monster is. (They will fall in the direction of the monster though).

This is more a nerf for bladefall miners then trappers since bladefall miners are now more forst to lay theyr mines in the near of the enemy to make sure bladefall will hit it.

Trappers have the advantage that they actuall throwing theyr traps on the enemy anyway so it will stay the same as before.

All in all i expected i way more harder nerf so im positivly surprised.
I for sure know what i going to play in atlas of worlds ;)

Thats it for now i hope i didnt missed any important line if so let me know :)

Sidenodes:

Rip coc discharge.

Reach and voidheart going legacy get some if you can :D

Hi, i had a funny little idea when looking at your build - apologies if it was already discussed in the thread.

You could use ancestral Warchief/protector! This would allow you to apply bleed and hence get 20% of your phys damage as extra chaos dmg, as well as Maim and the skill effect duration (see Toxic Delivery and Noxious Strike). That would be quite a nice damage boost. I guess other attacks would work too - spectral throw or something - but in any case i think you should make use of the other ascendancy passives in toxic delivery and noxious strike and incorporate a way to apply bleed.

Thats actually a nice idear to improve single target damage,if needed.

it may be a little tedious to lay that totem next to the boss(binos has low weapon range)
and mostly i didnt got the feeling that we are lacking on any single target dmg but it will for sure work.

Would Bladefall Trap in a 4L/5L? Tabulas are like 1ex the first few days in new Leagues.

If yes, what are the links in a 4L/5L?

if you cant afford tabula Deerstalker boots are the way to go.

bladefall+clustertrap+poison+conc effect. When you got 3 coated shrapnels remove poison for inc crit.

otherwise your better off with selfcast bladefall until you can afford tabula or deerstalker.
