Liking this build alot so far, just level 32 and picked up Saboteur passive now.

The passive says "you can place 1 additional trap", the new tooltip on trap, ice trap and bear trap (using them directly still) also says "you can place 4 traps".

However, the white cooldown counter in each gem still has 3 max so I still can only place 3 traps of each type.

Did I miss something or is this a bug? Was really looking forward to spam the screen with traps :)

1 additional trap doesent mean you can store one more trap on you cooldown counter.

It means you can have one more trap laying around(on the ground) at the time.

There are limits on the number of traps and mines a player can have active at one time. By default a character can have:

Can set up to 3 traps
Can set up to 5 remote mines

Laying an additional trap exceeding the limit will cause the oldest active trap to be destroyed. Similarly, laying an additional mine exceeding the limit will cause the oldest active mine to be destroyed.

There are several passive skills which increase these limits, three additional Traps and two additional Mines can be gained in the passive tree. The Saboteur ascendancy tree can give two additional maximum Mines.

bladefall-spell echo or faster casting,controlled destruction, conc effect.

works with any tree until merc.

nothing changed in 2.3 in that case
we could have gone dual curse before prophecy.

But with cospiris will it was more obviously to go dual curse.


But since the new unique trapper jewel - Coated Shrapnel Crimson Jewel went live.
we have no need for that chest anymore.
so i alreaddy went away from dual curse and playing around with arctic armor atm.

Please understand that i trying much stuff so changes will happen all the time.
When i got the final version i will update all the outdated stuff.

Caracass is ok but not as good as belly (also it gives us useless es)
we dont need that extra aoe dmg we need life.
And the extra aoe is a joke against binos prolif we have alreaddy.

Its a diffrenece of 300-400 life between belly and carcass just saying.

We now can use trap cooldown recovery gem in our mainlink since we got so much dmg so theres that.

in my six link I run: bladefall > poison > trap > concentrated effect > trap cooldown > cluster traps.

I get about 5k dmg per trap whereas youre getting 40k!@!@ HOW? even taking into account atziri flask charges (only explains 25%) that is inexplicable :/

in summary. I think if you tricked out a saboteur the same as you did with you assassin he'd be absolutely killer.





Message me ingame i will loock over your gear and passive tree i may be able to tell you whats the diffrence.Also my tooltips shown in the guide is with trap and mine dmg not with cooldown recovery.

Ya, I just haven't picked up the power charges on the tree yet, probably should tho.

Looking at the Assassinate ascendancy, it gives cull, which may override the southbound gloves, so it'd ruin the Bino's poison proliferation. So I'll swap to deadly infusion after I get the end-game lab done.

Also, about the Unique jewel, coated shrapnel, how good do you think it is? Is it good to get early or would you wait till you have the 4 jewel slots?
