Lethality cluster is a super budget option, and needs to be got rid of once you get the Lioneye's Fall jewel, which was 1 alch last league. Sorry to have seen it go up.

Yeah i paid 49 darn chaos for mine.

Atm am level 86. rocking 86% crit chance with 7 charges (using arc instead of controlled destruction).

Overcapped resists, and 4.4k hp (working on better hp/crit jewels).

No problems with any map so far barring reflect. Any melee mob gets pushed off my screen when i crit it making many bosses super safe. Have only run up to t11 atm though.

Using a 5L belly, saving for carcass/jewels, not sure what is more important.

But generally this build is super fun to play, I lag my friends out and they die when they open a strongbox because of my crits :)

Thanks for the build!

so i have been trying this build in new league for the past 4 ~ 5 days
I hope my experience can help anyone who are trying to get to this build...

At low lvl, i leveled up with ONLY Bladefall with two of one-handed wands.

i looked for spell dmg, casting speed, elemental resist and life.

since i had 3 mana flasks and only skill i use was bladefall, i did not look for mana regen.

At the same time, i got Herald of ash, ice AND lightening for extra bit of dmg.

while doing so, i followed SAME skill tree as suggested in the guide (SOFTCORE lvl 100 complete build skill tree).

I would suggest not to worry about links at low lvl since you change your items VERY often.

The only links i cared was Bladefall + increase crit chance AND/OR penestration of any element AND/OR increase phy dmg AND/OR spell echo OR any dmg increasing gems.

i was lucky enought to get Reverberation Rod which gives you level 1 spell echo to sockets but with good wands, you should be find with no spell echo.

for a skill tree, i got most of shadow side first because it provided me with HP, dmg, some crit and dodge for spell & melee attacks.

i had no trouble getting to Merciless Act 3 and beat both normal and Cruel labyrinths.

be reminded that it was NOT the fastet leveling method. i would say its somewhere between slow and normal lvling speed.

(i normally complete ALL the main & side quests)

once i got to lvl 65, i was able to get 5L Armour from prophecy

that's when i switched over to this build.

since my skill trees were following this guide, i did not have to change anything.

If anyone wants to know more, let me know.

I should say, leveling with blade vortex + bladefall cluster trap + shockwave totem for assistance had been my best leveling experience so far after double flame totem in patch 2.0.

There aren't much faster builds out there than that, perhaps firestorm with elemental overload, but thats elemental and lacks damage in merciless.

Thx for sharing your experience. I do level a bit slower and am worried about currency investment as I am a casual player. How much have you invested for switching to this build?

Im leveling with bladefall and enjoy it very much. But maybe i should drob Clarity and use more mana flasks. lvl 54 atm
Hi!

I'm playing this build in Prophecy too and enjoying it greately!

I levelled with self-cast Bladefall all the way until 84, following mostly the final build tree (haven't used any regrets so far). I just grabbed some spell-damage & mana nodes to sustain a 6L setup (was also using reduced mana on 6L).

I was lucky with a Tabula drop, so I was using that until recently, when I looted a Carcass Jack. I was switching between Tabula & a 5L Hyrri's Ire (which I bought kinda cheap), depending on the content (easy maps with tabula, Lab runs with Hyrri).

Current gear:

Additional gear

Current Tree @87

Since I'm self-founding the rare gear, there is still a lot of room for improvement, esp. the rings (need diamonds). I have a better quiver, but cant use it yet, because need to cap resists. I don't like buying gear, but in this case is inevitable - I had to buy the bow & Lioneyes Fall jewel, which is now the most expensive part of the build.

For the 5-th link i'm switching between Conc.Effect, Incr. criticals & Controlled Destruction, depending on content.

The only drawback of the build is that it's laggy :) , esp when hitting large groups of enemies. Since I added Carcass its even more laggy, because of those damn gore explosions.

But I'm loving it. Thanks OP!

The only thing I'd change is "budget" in the title, because of the Lioneye's Fall jewel which is pretty expensive (I could afford it only because I looted a Brittle Emperor card from Voll). I'd say a baseline version of this build is ~2 ex, and that's with selffound rares.

Getting lionseye is the lowest priority for me atm, it's only 20% physical dmg difference between the lethality cluster. I'd prioritize a 5-link, and crit chance + crit multiplier. I'm not an expert though

Given this league's circumstances, I agree.
I got lucky and found a Lifesprig right off the bat. Used Bladefall with faster casting then spell echo to level. At 66 now and im doing around 9k pdps with just the three link and hatred. Starting mapping with it at 60ish with not issus. Got a 5 Assasins garb im gonna put on at 68 then switch over to the regular build. But using that method to level is real quick and effective.

Is the crit chance and multiplier in the lethality wheel global? Will just affect blast rain or also the other spells?
