What u think about Shadow (Assassin) or Scion (Assassin+Berserker) ?

You can also start as Shadow for this build, but i would go for Trickster instead of Assasin.
Then build up Frenzy charges instead of Power charges vie ascendancy and the power charges via Blasphemy curse or Skyforth. With skyforth you can build up endurance charges too.
With Assasin you will loose an enourmus Defensive Potential. Also whith gear and gem setup you should have no problems to reach the nearly critcap, so why waste ascendancy points on crit?
Also you wont generate powercharges this fast on non-crit.

With occultist you can build the tankiest es builds ever. But an es/evasion Hybrid Shadow Trickster might also be a good alternative. My next Project will concern itself with this theory.

Scion (Assassin+Berserker)
Let us see:
- You will have permanently life leech
- You will easier reach the crit cap
- Faster Power Charge generation on trash (nearly no generation on Bosses)
- More DPS
- Less ES
- Increased damage icome(but not much)

There are some downsides but also great benefits, i would give it a try.

Am thinking about making a FP character. But i am thinking of using a +3 staff since FP base damage is so huge the higher levels you hit. Could hit level 27 FP with your setup. But i am not sure how this will compare to the chaos pulse. Reflect will be a problem but in my build i will be taking VP so it should be fine. What are your thoughts on a +3 staff build?

Have you stopped using this build? Your items are no longer verified.

So after the ascendancy skilltree reset i have to make my other characters work too.
Actually working on a lowlife voltaxic chaos crit arc Trickster build, using the most items of the witch for my shadow atm.
But will buy own Items for the Shadow if it works like intend.

Current Stats:
70k Arc DPS charges running
7100ES
5 Auras 1 Curse
4 Power charges
4 Frenzy charges
But way far from finished :)

If you use pyre you can still benefit from conversion and the izaros trumoil jewels.
And Rigwalds Crest.
Only have to skill in the fire and Cold nodes on top of the witch.
But the most mobs have much higher resistances against elements so more ele dps is not easy comparable to chaos dps.
Sure, 27 FP will work, but ele reflect will be hard to master even with vaal pact :)
short math:
I guess fully buffed you will hit with about 25-30k ele dam tooltip and that twice because of spell echo. With 15% reflect that would be about 9000 reflect dam. With 75% res you will be hit for 2250 Damage. If you crit it would be up to 4 times more than that.
how did you get your mana regen to 80? i can only seem to get it up to 35 at best

Have you specced in the Manaregen nodes on top of the witch / right from the Shadow start and rigth from the ranger start?
Do you have clarity running?
But you dont need that high regen, manaleech from warlords mark and clarity helps you to sustain the manacosts more than enough.

On curse immune maps i have about 6-7 casts untill i run out of mana without manapots. But trash, magic and rares are dead after one or two casts, for bosses i use manapot to sustain if nescesary, but normally i dont need them - just facetank, use atziri flask and melt them down before i run oom. Tougher Bossfights also no problem without warlords and pot because of: casting - positioning - casting - positioning - casting - boss dead.

Hey I'm just wondering If it's possible to do this build with Glacial Cascade instead of freezing pulse?

Possible yes, but i would not do it because:

- Glacial Cascade has only a base critchance of 5%
- 40% more Manacosts
- Slower clearspeed
- Low DPS, yes it hits the target twice but still much lower.
- Physical Damage doesnt benefit from cold/fire/chaos damage nodes/gear
- Physical Reflect would not be a problem with that high defense but i wouldnt like to play a conversion build with physical damage left in the tooltip :)
- Bit sluggish to play
if I'm res capped without purity of ele, is there any other reason to use it? or are you just using to get capped? if there's no reason for me to use it, what else should I use? Got any tips? this build is sick btw, gj.
