Started as a second character aswell and it sure is a blast. Nice damage, decent survivability and also great to afford. Farming merc lab right now for my enchants even though not sure if +lightning dmg or +crit on shoes since both uptimes would be decent.

The build is very nice for fast lab runs. I took 90% crit chance on boots and obviously want +1 wave on helmet which is going to be huge but no luck yet. Did not find any usefull glove enchants since they can reflect huge amounts of dmg.

Took the frostglobe, which got nice dmg and insane freeze + powercharge replenish, gonna try to get something with fnm on helm, the +25% inc dmg is also a possibility since there are over 200 possible enchants. Well i now know how much dmg i get from lightning dmg on boots but gonna try those 7% crit next. The extra wave would be a dream, yet too much rng on the helmet pool.
Ridiculously powerful build, tyvm for it. I'm at 67 atm and one-shotting pretty much everything with a single 3 (or 4) mine drop, on a 5-link with Conc Effect. When I get a 6-link I'm planning on throwing increased crits in there for even more silliness. Was able to one-shot Cruel Argus and two-shot the hardest version of Cruel Izaro, and just today roasted Lunaris Piety before she could cast anything.

And my gear is mostly trash, too.



I opted to spend the 6 points to get an additional curse, mostly 'cause I found a Doedre's Scorn, and it's been pretty smooth sailing all the way through A3 Merc. Looking forward to obliterating Merc Izaro and bumping my crits even higher!
What stats should I prioritize with jewels? max health/energy shield for def? and is those crit chance/multi for fire skills worth or should I just try to get max fire/spell dmg?

I felt pretty tanky in the league so I mainly went for damage but they also help to cap resistances and especially atr points.

You can use the excel damage calculator to check what stat improves your damage the most but it is usually going to be crit multiplier.

This would be top tier:

Have you thought about going elemental focus instead of trap and mine or controlled destruction? Is the ignite damage that worth it for such a good more modifier?

since you didnt get an answer yet, my fnm character is 91 and nearly finished in gearing (only miss a lvl 4 emp) in my opinion is controlled destruction is plainly stronger, since you can easily afford to compensate 5% crit, while the extra burning and maybe shocking or freeze (on my part its shock since my weap got some extra lightning dmg) is just too good to pass, even though the enemy is only shocked for a very short time, it is enough to strenghten at least 2 out of the 5 waves which is some decent extra dmg. The burning dmg is usually enough to finish off mobs that were only hit by one wave, also if you get the burning on a boss going, well it adds up and is a rather big downside to gem in comparison to only "5%" crit which is nothing once you hit 75%+, kinda easily achieved.

No offense towards GGPrime, just didnt want to let someone interested in this build, which doesnt get enough love :), to stay in the dark, feel free to correct me.

The burning dmg from fnm is huge, you can use the Excel Sheet in the guide to check your burning damage. I did the math for my setup and my burning damage deals almost 1.5 x the damage of a whole mine. The reason for this is that the burning damage gets modified a second time (double dips) with every %increased modifier, only %increased spell damage does not increase the burning damage again.

My current setup is this one btw:

Manacost is ridiculous though, 180 mana per mine.
