Help! Shadow Version of Cripp Wander?

I have a lvl 75 wand shadow on default and here is his tree so far



When I got my 5L chest, I unspecced some of the health nodes because i badly needed both the mana regeneration passives by the witch and templar tree. (i will get them back as i level)

I'm currently running 7 auras: haste, purity, discipline, clarity, wrath, anger, grace

Don't even bother picking up a wand unless it has 1.5+ attack speed. A blue 1.5 speed wand with lightning damage and crit would be better than the one you linked.

My gear sucks so I didn't even bother trying to boost my armor yet because it wouldn't do shit and im on default anyway.

I use elemental hit for single target and power siphon for aoe.

I might get conduit eventually, but I found the unique gloves that have conduit so I'm using those because I haven't found any good elemental damage gloves yet

You don't really need hatred if going with ele siphon build, you won't do much phys dmg so there will be almost no cold dmg that could scale off, and as "40%" auras you should use determination and haste for more benefits (purity+haste if not capped on resists).

P.S. No offense, but that wand is quite bad.

Another thing, if all the other gear is for survivability, then what the heck do you have equipped if u have only 3.1k hp and no armor/ev?

i miss spelled about hatred aura yes its useless, anyway wrath,dicipline,anger and clarity takes too much from your mana even with high leveled reduce mana so u cant go with % aura.Btw i would love see a better wand than mine atm with all 3 element damage...

That wand is pretty nice. Only thing it's missing is more accuracy and attack rating. It's basically ideal.

Meant attack speed not attack rating. Crit would be nice yes, but it's not a must.

If this thread remains here it'll probably get buried underneath all the soon-to-be created threads. Moving it to shadow forums where it"ll get the relevant attention

Tri-ele wand doesn't benefit you as much as proper roll 1-2 ele wand. Also roll on lightning damage is very low there, what should give u the biggest part of your dps. So going blindly for triple ele wand is a mistake. :)

I'm about to create my first (hopefully) main hardcore character and wanted to see how this character worked out for you? I want to create a power siphon, elemental wander myself but I'm torn between Templar or Shadow as a starter.
