Crit Dual Totem Bladefall 82k Dps / Hc Viable/ 6200 Life
" I actually did dual wand up to level 93 to 94 or so then switched to a shield for extra life and block. I'm currently level 100 so I play dual wand most of the time now. Also dual wand can give 15k extra dps so would be good for bosses but not really needed. Tempest shield not so good since we don't block a whole lot with no block nodes but if you you can squeeze it in it can't hurt :] Yes with EB you can reserve all your mana. Mom isn't that good anymore unless you have a huge mana pool and would mean you can't use anything that reserves mana or use maybe one aura. I was freeze pulse totem at one time and I used frostbite for that build. Fp was very good but bladefall has twice as much dps and monsters aren't that resistant to physical damage. Can't put enhance otherwise don't have enough mana. You could always take out increased aoe but aoe makes a huge difference with cursing. Another option is not to have any curses except self cast and run arctic armor, herald of ash and hatred which works well too WTB Map drops since 2013

I havent made the switch yet to EB/arctic armor for the low maps, and its hurting, but the dps is certainly there with crap leveling gear on. I can cast two totems before quashing a mana pot. Thanks again for the build.

Just wanted to update that this build is very hc viable so far. Im level 76 atm, with around 22k dps per totem without much invested into crit, 4.6k hp and 95 res lowest (cold).
Would love some input on the gear and what to upgrade next:

Do you still believe Hierophant would be best subclass in 2.2? Are there any other sub classes you think this would be good with?

" Yea Im wondering the same thing, since your going crit assassin seems like a sure thing, not positive on its totem interaction though. Or if you went hierophant you could drop the dual totems node unless you really think 4 totems is so much better than 3. The problem becomes casting since your need to regen es to cast the third, the 4th will likely be behind you anyhow. Plus hierophant has a ton of mana regen you're not going to use. Occultist gives free power charges and an extra curse but again that's more casting to even use the second curse. Trickster gives some great survival but thats about it. Its cool that you could start witch temp or shadow and still maintain the tree. just currious your thought on which will really be best in ascendancy. I really like this build, but I want to optimize as best I can for 2.2 and Im just a bit lost. IGN
