" Yea that ES is quite low and running Hatred + Discipline is a better choice for now. Also if you're not using a higher spell damage shield yet, I'd recommend using Vertex or a rare ES helmet in the meantime instead of Crown of Eyes, the Vertex has higher ES as well and a good +1 for your discipline. Additionally you can get elreon's 20% ES mod on your rings for some more ES%. Other than that the gear/links looks alright. Glad you enjoyed the build! "Get rich or die grinding"

Sorry if I'm too noob but..I'm doing this build right now (71lvl) and I didn't get it what this build profits from spell damage,can you explain please?

" With Crown of Eyes, Increased and Decreased (but not More or Less modifiers) spell damage is also applied to attacks. Please contact support@grindinggear.com if you need any assistance.

Gary_GGG police alert. Hope this build isn't considered broken when he has 5 mirrored pieces of gear. I plan to use this build in Ascendancy with witch-occultist offering a "free" skyforth (6 total nodes). I was wondering if OJ8_Graz considered a similar plan. I could also see running the shadow class that has "free" mana cost for flicker strike in order to reduce alot of the mana leech/nodes you took in favor of other nodes. The downside here is you'd probably respec into a higher evade/es combo meaning 1 shot potential and reduced CI effectiveness (also shav's lowlife possible). I also somewhat wondered if farming would be more beneficial to throw in a bino's for your offhand and leaving the shield strictly for harder content.Let me know what your opinion is OP.

" Lmao, truth be told mate, many times this build was attempted to be killed off, namely with the leech, blood rage, flicker strike gem, crit, crit multi, dagger base nerfs, the list just goes on. For the future Ascendancy classes, I actually lost track of what to plan on for this build because of the slow releasing of information. Although I will keep an eye on Trickster and Occultist for next expansion, Assassin will be my last option as the pathing on that tree is still unrefined imo. Also, dual wielding will not be an option for this build as you will lose a significant amount of ES, spell damage and block. The upsides of dual wielding do not compensate well enough for that trade. Hey, have some question.
I'm actually tring an ES build pretty similar to your. To be more clear I've copy ur Uber set up, since I like to be more safe and facetanking things. My gear is pretty good, got everything I need: skyforth, 900es 3res regalia, loath bane etc etc... Btw I have some doubt and I by searching around (from months, really) I feel like you are the best to ask this. N1: I would like to use Viper Strike as single target main skill (at least if it doesn't get nerf in ascendecy), will the 25% damage converted to chaos low my leech to much for a facetank?? N2: I'm using acuity not maligaro, and by this I don't take any mana point (I'm using acuity and my mana is 968) is this enough for skyforth or I shoulda get more? N3: Can I ask what's your dps with reave and double strike? because I usally play 6man party so I can't really understand if it's that or just you damage to be incredible high compared to mine. N4: What do you think of blasphemy + vulnerability?? I feel with viper strike it is the best one for the double benefit, but can I don't use warlord's mark vs Uber and other bosses or It's a must? Chonkeyy, nice to see another update to your Flicker build! I've been following them for a while now and they've been a huge inspiration for my own builds and ideas. Good stuff as always dude!

" #1: Viper strike will lower your leech amount because of the conversion. But you can use warlord's mark to offset that and still be able to tank Uber Atziri and leech back instantly ALL ES. One thing you'll lose however is free frenzy charge generation if you replace Frenzy with VS (this is a lot of damage for me because I have 5 frenzy charges). #2: 968 mana is quite low for Skyforth. Try to aim at around 1.6-1.8k mana which brings stun threshold at around 80-90% of maximum ES. This makes us pretty much stun immune in most situations. #3: Tried both just now and I got 526k Reave with Increased AoE, 665k with Melee Splash DS and 866k Single Target. All without Vaal Haste or Flasks. #4: If you're gonna specialize on Viper Strike, Blasphemy + Vuln will be very helpful, you can also squeeze that in your mana and drop HoA if you take enough Aura Reserve nodes. Problem if you want to tank Uber and out-leech everything she throws. It will be VERY hard to do so without warlord's mark. PS: I run Ubers a bit differently now, my old Uber guide is the safest way to do it in my build. Now I don't use Reave nor Enduring Cry anymore and just YOLO Flicker all over the place. try it without skyforth and discipline ( the es you lose from discipline is gained from the boots )
dual curse with vulnerability and assassins mark linked to herald of ice im sure you can get to or almost to 2 milion with flasks which is almost 5milion with the curses i remember i was at 850k dps with flasks with 140iiq 300iir gear ( was using pcoc, no curses and before the melee splash buff ) drop crit chance from the jewels for crit multi; 4 power charges+dagger crit nodes on the tree and you are at about 90%+crit if i remember correctly from my flicker, add 10% from the curse and it's 100% assassins mark with 750% multiplier, gives you 270-280% multiplier, that's 75% more dps considering the 10% flat crit chance, vulnerability gives you another 30% more dps now you are at least at 4 milion dps, but my ideal tree is different from yours, very similar to my kinetic flicker strike is my most prefered skill gem/build but since vulnerability maps are bad with blood rage and for phys reflect maps i should switch for reave and still not easy, i stick to my wander else i would try it again :p Last edited by InAshesTheyShallReap#0055 on Feb 18, 2016, 2:36:09 AM
