reasoning is that if you take primordial (golem node) you get 80% fire dmg and tanky flame golem.
portal thing was before ascendancy because there was no reason to use golem. Now golem is meta for energy shield regen or the elementalist dmg


my gem setup atm with saboteur, for elementalist instead of aoe+prolif (conc+ignite) -> aoe + trap cooldown (missing vaal lightning trap):

Wondering if you did uber with this build ? I am considering trying, but since atxiri doesn't burn... don't know. Even normal atziri is a bit annoying (not saying hard, just annoying) without trap cooldown. So, what's up ?

And in the same trend, what about using another spell for boss that dont burn ? I am trying to see if dual consuming dark and a firestorm couldn't work, even though the tree is not optimal it's still fire and trap damage. We lack the poison but whatever...

Or a bladefall mine setup maybe ? Still with poison ofc.

Thoughts ?

Funny thing i'm actually preparing for uber right now.
I have everything figured out:
- adds won't be a problem already done it with my fire nova mine (weaker then dd)
- Curses enfeeble+chain+flammability
- dual vaal: link will be dd-remote mine (instead conc)-trap and mine-rapid decay (instead trap)-chance to ignite-fire pen
why remote mine? so i can put 3mines on both side before start, they get ignited and after first kill (should be instant) 2nd will still burn to death
problem i had was: burned 1st 2nd went underground and then he was immune to burn - thats why ignite both at the same time

-trio: normal trap boss link, first quill rain easy, then you have to ignite both at the same time, if you do that they will keep the ignite and still die even tho he's immune (bug but who cares), if not dual striker first then bleed guy, shouldn't be that hard since they barely move with chains

atziri: now here is the tricky part you gonna need 2 chests, carcass and something (coil, belly, rare)
carcass- dd-trap-trap and mine-fire pen-conc-ignite -> split phase can be ignited - enough dmg to one shot it
2nd chest- DD-echo-faster cast-conc-fire pen-elemental focus - focus remove status (yeah vs uber :D) elemental multiplier works with dd, and after that it's simply like: OMG's DD back in 1.2 while now we have 2 more multipliers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFiuaJoKwoU

Edit: remote mine thing doesn't work :(, 2nd went down instantly after first kill just like with trap, need to figure out how to ignite them both at the same time while none of them go underground

desecrate still on trap setup, because corpses made by trap doesn't disappear (no limit)
Another tip: life, i would advice spec in more life at least 5.5k hp to avoid stun from everything (only big hits will stun you) or more expensive Eye of Chayula with +1curse

yeah, this is quite in detail what I thought too. Need a swap chest :(.

As for the vaal oversouls I actually had no issues the only time I tried : vaal DD ftw. I created a track of corpses to link the two spawning spots and Vaal DD ignites both instantly, and they brun to death. I might have been lucky, though, and if one doesnt ignite you're stuck with a second one immune, but well.

Okay, gotta save somne fuses now...

I didn't succeed last time, but usually in normal atziri I kill the three of the trio at the same time, either with vaal dd or a tri-ignite. Do you think it could work too ?

i wouldn't craft new 6l chest i went with

2ex for 6l hybrid and about 200alt for 100+life roll and master craft some es

vaal dd will work too, it's just my personal preference to not use one timer skills. Basically if you can reliably pull it off vs normal you won't have problem vs uber trio.

I think - math is little wrong. Real dmg to negative resist monsters will be increased to *1,92 and will be 26024dmg. Dmg red = (1 - Res) * d - incorrect formula for this situation.
Damage to cursed enemy = 1-(1-total fire penetrate)*damage - is correct.
