yeah, you stated as much on the first page but I assume that's a very high leveled character? (you gain more life per level)

edit: being a bit bored I swapped to something very close to your dps tree in HC and I actually did get 5k life, lol. 5016, down from about 5.8. we'll see how it goes.

if any Hc players are reading this I recommend Kintsugi chest and Rupture for your Uber lab points. this will grant you 20% less damage to any (first) hit you take and immunity to taking damage while running and bleeding.

My char is level 93.

This is incorrect, poison is not the same as chaos, that's why the name of the skill was changed from Posion Arrow to Caustic Arrow. Also, atziri's flask will have absolutely no effect on caustic arrow - it will neither increase your dps, nor will you leech anything. You cannot leech from damage over time damage sources.

Updated and ready to play for 2.4. I didn't make any changes yet, as the tree remained the same, but I might after the start of the league etc.

Sorry, that would be just too much work. You should look at my existing "leveling guide" on the first page. Use other bow skills like split arrow or tornado shot till late-game.

you're misleading people with 'a couple of exalts'. this build is not a couple of exalts at all. both the bow and empower lvl 4, even lvl 3, are very expensive. you can't find many bows, and they're already crafted and expensive. crafting yourself is also difficult, you need catarina lvl 8, leo lvl 3 [most people don't play PvP, for good reasons], and some good understanding of affixes. also, not cheap. especially if you f up and you have to craft again. : >

You need neither the 6-link +3 bow, nor the empower gem. The build works perfectly fine in a 5-link +2 bow and without empower.

I'm using your build because I was curious about Caustic Arrow and how it was to play with. I've liked it so far. But about leveling: I have been going with Caustic Arrow pretty much all the way when I got it socketed and I like the build and caustic arrow :P It's great. The way I've been going was this: I started as it starts from ranger tree, but I went down from Finesse node and kept going down towards duelist tree taking Thick Skin and Dirty Techniques nodes on the way and I took the jewel node from up too. then I took all the necessary nodes from Duelist tree and now I'm at level 57 and I've been going up taking the major nodes on the way to shadow tree. I haven't taken any projectile damage nodes. Just the needed nodes for the build. And I noticed that you get more damage out of your char when you don't take that +10% projectile damage node but 2x +5% Pierce, +8% Projectile Damage nodes when going for Piercing shots node ;) and since you're using the Drillneck unique wouldn't that extra +10% Pierce be better with +16% Projectile Damage from those +5% Pierce, +8% Projectile Damage nodes than 10% Projectile Damage node? Just a suggestion mate :) A thing I noticed while taking nodes :P And bit of a leveling guide for those who doesn't really now how to start level this guy. That's how I've done it and it has worked. Be careful with leveling blue gems thought ;) don't need much leveling those gems and they just mess up your going :P Hope someone read this and took my hints and tips in practice.
