Q&A with the Developers!

Totems + cast speed; is Storm Call on spell totems an exception since Faster Casting support gem doesn't increase the tooltip like with other spell totem builds? Does FC do anything mechanically in this case? I have a hard time telling the difference.
What are your thoughts about melee skill targeting, frost blades and how melee splash works for example. You have to click on the target, which makes for very clunky gameplay. Compared to other skills/spells, you can just click on the ground and they will get casted. This makes for much smoother gameplay, i can just aim in a direction it will hit. Are there any technical limitations or other gameplay considerations that would effect a change like this?

Any thoughts on Warbands map? Not the map mod, but like actual "Redblade Stronghold" or "Mutewind Fortress" type maps?

Can someone explain why for critical strikes accuracy is rolled twice? What's the thought process behind this double roll? Doesn't this make accuracy a little too valuable? Or does this make evasion stronger than at first glance?

Here's a fun one, what did you guys expect to be super common in Talisman but ended up being unpopular/not played?

I really would like to see "giant" abilities, like say a "giant fireball" as opposed to the current GMP or LMP style supports we have. You know, the fantasy of a giant flaming ball. Is this something that's possible? Sort of like a support that "merges" projectiles together? Or make projectiles "larger" (width wise)?

(P.S. If I was ever making a unique map, I'd make a "race against the Chaos Renegades" map, where the player(s) start on one side and the Chaos Renegades start on the other, the faster you clear, the more things there are to kill and the slower you go, the more the Chaos Renegade will slaughter!)
Any plans for a "more effective" trading system?
Don't know if this was asked already, didn't want to go through 60 pages of replies, although there's tons of interesting questions along with funny troll ones.

Anyway, my question is something that popped up on the State of Exile Podcast hosted by Ziggy and Zeno earlier this week. That being, is there a chance we will be seeing a shapeshifting mechanic for players whether that be a passive that permanently changes you into an animal outside (or both outside and inside) of towns or a skill that temporarily transforms you into an animal? Seeing as the technology is there with Rigwald.
When chancing voll's devotion was made much harder in patch 2.0 did the tier of voll's devotion get changed or were chance orbs themselves nerfed?
What is up with the Steam region lock? When is POE going to be for the CIS area?

Because steam and because stupid local laws for the region, it's only locked through steam which has it's disadvantages(patching taking longer than normal)

You have garena and the standalone client...i'd heard garena are trying to take it to steam but i've no idea how that would work with the normal game being on there.

Are there any plans to make spectres persistent until they die? It's frustrating to have to stay logged in after finding higher level spectres in maps and to need to summon new spectres after being disconnected.

Would it be possible to allow knitted horror corpses to be summoned in dried lake? They are a very popular spectre, and it is tedious to need to find them.

Would it be possible for spectres not to delevel when you take them into lower level areas? The worry about spectres used for power leveling could be solved by giving the raise spectre gem a ceiling on the level of spectre it can raise that's dependent on the gem level (just like desecrate). Characters would thus have to be higher level to summon higher level spectres do to the gem level requirements.

Is it a possibility to have a button to reset the skill tree at any time in standard? this would allow me and other standard casual player to experiment with different build styles.
As im working 40h a week and have to take care of my family life, i dont have the time to lv up multiple characters or to wait for the once or twice a year skill tree reset. Thank for your time.
