" Right, Mana is a problem early on. It gets all solved at lvl 31 when you finally can use Blasphemy/Ass. Mark. Until then try to get a "Mana gained on Kill" suffix on a item or use a cheap Elreon's jewelry. It can also help to take Soul Siphon right next to the shadows starting point and regret those skill points later. Oh and the Soul Raker skill in the Claw wheel on the right has Mana Leech, you might want to go there as soon as possible. I came here to drink milk and kick ass...and I've just finished my milk. Thank you so much for this build! I having a lot of fun with it.
Could I swap Ice Golem for Chaos Golem ? I mean trade crit and accu for more dmg on poisoned targets due golem aura/spikes + received phy dmg reduction. |

" Thanks, glad to see people enjoy it! A chaos golem can help with defense (phys dmg reduction) of course but I don't know if it will give a noticable offensive boost with its attacks. Havn't tried it but I feel golems add mostly to a build because of their passive buffs not their attacks. But if you have tried it I'd be interested if you could see any improvements. Intelligence Requirements are pretty high for the chaos golem though, I'm not sure if it's worth to keep that up in this Dex/Str-build. Interesting build, but I found wild strike was pretty terrible at mob clearing unless it procced the lightning, especially if there ranged mobs.
I do like the idea of blasphemy/assassins and am using quite a few elements of the skill tree in my build, though I have gone ES/Evasion and Trickster |

" Nah, I don't know, pretty much all the stats-passives are Dex nodes, we would lose their evasion bonus. I tried to respec a Ranger into IR once it completely messed up the build. " Really? I cannot agree, it has a way better range than most other melee-AoE-skills. since they've added two more waves tho the icy thing I find that whole skill really satisfying (although my favourite wreck-the-whole-screen-char was an Ice-Shot-Chain-Ranger but I never could get decent damage end game). Hi there! Really cool build, always wanted to try something with wild strike.
Just wondering something about ascendancy classes… I get that Assassin is the most offensive choice (crit is pretty good for everyone, spell or attack), but could Saboteur be a descent choice for this build? - Explosive expert: you get some elemental damage, which is good for the second part of wild strike (the first hit being single target, I feel pack clearing would be better if we buff the pure flat elemental part of the skill) and elemental penetration, extra fire damage, good for both part. I admit less damage from traps and mines seems not that good… - Blinding Assault: you gain blind chance on hit and smoke cloud chance on being hit. Great defence and we can replace Blind on our CoDT setup - Born in the Shadows: increased damage against blinded enemies and reduced damage from blinded enemies is a good mix of offence/defence. I know it’s pure theory cause i’m only lvl 20 with this shadow, but would like to have an opinion, thanks! |

" Glad you like the build. On your question about Asc. Classes: I think it's a bit of a choice Mobs vs. Bosses. If you want a high clear speed on maps go for assasin, its "on full life" and "on low life" boni apply mostly to killing mobs with one, two, three hits max. The Saboteurs skills are more usefull in longer battles. There the ele. penetration and the blind chance will play out. Although I am a bit hesitant about how effective a blind-chance on hit of 10% is, since it only effects your evasion-chance. (See: For example, if you would normally have a 35% chance to evade attacks made by a particular enemy, you would have the following chance to evade against blinded enemies: Defender's chance to evade blinded enemy = 1 - 0.5 * (1 - 0.35) = 67.5%) That 6% dmg reduction look kind of nice, but you'll get it approximately only after every 10th hit for 4 sek and then it will only prevent 60HP of a hit that would deal 1000 dmg... not to tempting IMHO. I'd say Assasin Class is more reliable in the long run. I came here to drink milk and kick ass...and I've just finished my milk.
