Hey , nice guide! I Really want to try it, but I have a question concerning the helm.

There is this new item introduced with the league called heretic's veil.

I really want to try it out with this build, because it would free out some mana reservation from the tree.

I want your toughts on this if you don't mind. Im especially curious if that we would just loose too much dmg from not wearing doedre's scorn.

Hi!

Sure you'd free up some mana, 3 nodes and gain quite a bit of ES but you're also losing 20% ele damage and quality on blasphemy (which gives up to a 10% increased effect of curses). Not to mention you're also losing 30-60% increased damage depending on your doedre's rolls.

That said, the veil wouldn't be horrible for the build and I'm sure you could make it work well. I haven't been able to test it yet but I do believe doedre's is the superior option in price and in performance.

I really love the idea of this build, and I have a couple of questions since I play hardcore. I wouldn't say I'm a noob, but I'm still somewhat new to the game (only have 1 level 70 right now).

1) Do you think your passive tree is tanky enough for hardcore?

2) Should I get a lot of the crit dmg/crit chance nodes before I go for Ancestral?

3) Why don't you pick up shamanistic fury and other totem nodes? Does the build already seem like it does enough damage?

1. Probably not since the tree is only giving 133% incr. life.
Also, by using blasphemy on a totem build means you have to play a bit more aggressively having to often place yourself in dangerous positions near mobs.

2. I would, it sure helps with leveling. :)

3. I do plan on taking shamanistic fury in the next few levels. You could probably pick it up earlier but the damage is great as is.
