[2.2] Rowan's Cyclone CoC Discharge-Tanky, High Damage, Life Based (Even Budget)
Yea, early game, it can be a bit glass canony during leveling. Like you said it gets way better once you get saffell's, coupled with auras to give you +max res. This is definitely a late game build once everything comes together.
Sure, the lab can be hard, but it's pretty easy if you're properly geared, and not terrible at the game.

Using CWDT on warlord and bloodline to improve damage survivability. Working okish for now. I run molten shield with immortal call on a higher lvl CWDT as well

With eleron's jewellery is possible to make cyclone cost 0 mana even without reduced mana gem so 5l volls protector works like 6l one
my gear: |

Oh wow, very nice. I do suppose Elreon Jewelry is another option, I just never considered it because I thought it would be too much investment, but I guess not. By the way, you can go ahead and remove that reduced mana in your rat's nest, as it was changed to no longer work on Auras in 2.0. With that change, you also cant run x2 purity plus grace like you used to, unless you have aura nodes

sigh and I brought a Q17 reduced mana. -_-"

Hi, I would like to ask, in passive tree you linked, there is path starting in elemental damage, continuing to Trickery and Assasination. But you recommend start path with physical damage and Coordination and Will of Blades. Which one is correct? Thanks.

The tree one is the correct one you want to use. Where I say to pick up those physical nodes/clusters you mentioned, it's for leveling purposes only. Since you're already getting some damage/dagger nodes, its doesnt hurt to get a few more while leveling until you get a good enough dagger to switch to a voll's and CoC properly. They're simply temporary nodes, and should be re-speced once you switch from say molten strike like i did.

Nice. Thanks for a quick reply.

Is there something I overlooked? How are you supporting two purities and a herald?
Also for a 6 link, are there any other offensive spells besides Ice Nova that will work well with Discharge? |
|
Each purity reserves 35%, so that's 70 reserved. Then, even with the 110% multiplier on culling strike with HoT, that's 27.5% leaving 2.5% unreserved.
As for additional spells, Arc works really good, especially with the additional chains, as well as shock nova. You could also try storm call, but that only really works for single target as it casts directly on top of you and trash will be dead by the time they fall. Sure, the lab can be hard, but it's pretty easy if you're properly geared, and not terrible at the game.
