EDIT: I linked the wrong shield, don't pay attention to the second shield

This is my character so far and I am pretty pleased. I am new to the game so please forgive any rookie mistakes. I can clear a lot of content but I know I can do better and need help. I couldn't figure out how to link my jewels but they are EFW and all Crit chance, DMG, resistances and ES. Where can I improve my build? My goals are to get more ES (I am at 9.4K) and a 6 link chest next. My DPS tooltip starts at around 13K completely unbuffed and can get in the 20's with Conc effect. I have just been speed mapping to save currency so I can start on guardians and shape completely prepared.

So my question is what should I do next to spend my currency on?

* I could spend it all on a huge 6-link chest upgrade with more ES.
* I could work on my ES (But I don't want to lose DPS)
* I could re-tool my gem setup
* Put much more stock into accuracy and attack speed

Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks for the Guide!

Hey Mate

You have an interesting setup, though I'll try lending some advice.
- Your gem setup requires quality gems, sell the gems to the vendor with 1 GCP when they're level 20 and it will make the gem level 1, though it will be 20% quality. If you have time, don't buy gems.
- You don't have faster attacks. This will boost your dps massively.
- You need a 6 link, then get rid of that crit multi and replace it with faster attacks and inc aoe/conc effect.
- read the comment before yur's I made regarding getting a good 6 link.
- your amulet is lovely, though has no leech. This means you need to heavily invest in leech on all of your jewels. I can see that WM is your source of leech. We can stik with this, though our goal should ultimately be to move away from it as the mana reservation will not be worth it without skyforth's.
- Amulets are the single best source of leech, phys damage and crit multi.
- Maligaro's are not good for this build. I would strongly suggest finding another pair of gloves. Again, the above comment explains why.
- You need the stun avoidance enchant on your boots asap!
- We need at least a level 3 enlighten to run all of our auras. Then we need to get the charisma passives so we can accommodate the 3 auras.

There's quite a bit to do, so start with a 6 link then move from there imo.
I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.
The problem with this build is getting to CI. I was facerolling until ~L55 or so. Now dying left and right because the nodes simply don't provide enough health. So it's currently a complete glass cannon (1500 health @ A4C - just about to go to merciless). It would be nice to have an updated guide for transitioning from life to CI - the current guide and node build is pretty bad - I average 0-1 deaths by level 70 on most of my chars. I'm 57 and have 7 deaths (Trickster). 2nd highest of any character I've played. So the fun factor is quickly wearing off (note I'm playing SSF so I'm stuck with some very limited gear, especially when it comes to hits/ES). Ultimately, this build needs more health prior to 70.

Valid points mate.

I'll have a look at your gear and see how it goes. I did update build with the mention of a hardcore variant im going to make, though I haven't made it yet.

If you need then others will too. Thanks for constructive feedback =)

I've never made a build that accommodates full-ssf which could be fun.

Don't get me wrong; I think the build looks great and once I transition to CI it'll do really well; it's just a very tough transition. With the upcoming SSF mode in the next league (which is what, a month away?) it would be great to have a variation of the build that focused a lot more on survivability until one is able to move to CI. Part of the issue is I'm wearing Carnage Heart, which is 25% less health (I'm closer to 2K health total without it). Of course in SSF resists become a bit of a challenge; especially with this build, which doesn't really take many resist all nodes.

But it's powerful as all getgo. I did Malichai on Cruel with only 1500 health and 0 deaths because I was able to melt him so quickly. I'm now in Merciless with "ok" resists. Should run smoothly through to Act 3 - hopefully by then I'll have some new gear :)

Thanks for the quick feedback and keep up the good work!

That is a fragile time in a build and required plenty of planning. I remember how much of a stress it was for me back when i had 6k es trying to run an abyssus and use conc effect with reave while clearing haha.

I'll see what I can put together for that specific part in a character's development.

You're the first person to suggest it I think! A few people on here have helped me get breakthroughs in this build.

"Don't worry about what order we're grabbing these in as much. Assassin does so much damage it's insane. The fact we can get a carry through uber for free means we can have all 8 ascendancy points by level 70 and it's after that we start to do insane dps anyway."

What did you mean by free uber run?

Hey mate

By the time we're mapping around level 70, we may have already found an offering to the goddess.

Using this, many people are willing to run us through lab for free.

Amulet is the best source of leech on a single item in this build. Getting 1.2% leech from amy, then 2 jewels with 0.4 is already 2%

This is enough for most things
