This build will work as self-found until lvl 70 ish, though merciless will start to get tough as self-found resistance gear requires decent luck.

As long as you have a link slot for a life-leech gem you should be ok. I would however recommend at least buying a mightflay unless you want the challenge of being self-found until 70 =)

Once you build up currency you can then move onto buying gear after that.

Maligaro's actually give higher dps and attack speed than atziri's. They also allow you to take vaal's pact and ensure 100% of damage is leeched instantly rather than just critical hits.

If you can link your gear, then I can make some recomendations if you like?

Enchantment updates

Hello, great build first off all. I been using it as a base for my CI Reave build. However, I wonder if the points u take towards Heart of the Oak is worth it with the new boot enchantment. It is 8 points for essential only 6% stun avoidance increase.

65% stun avoidance from boots, 50% stun avoidance from going CI, 36% from Heart of Oak nodes.

1 - (1 -.5)*(1 - .65) = .825 or 82.5 % stun avoidance

now with the added 36% from Passive

1 - (1-.5)*(1 - .65)*(1 - .36) = .888 or 88.8% stun avoidance.

Do you think its worth it going down there? Or other points would be better?

Stun is something I've never fully had a good grasp on when it comes to CI.

I understand the mechanics and how there's 2 rolls done for the ES stun avoidance, etc, though it's with the new enchantments I'm confused. I now have 101% stun avoidance with my items and tree. This should surely be enough and to be honest I do not see myself get stunned when mapping. I do however see myself get stunned from Core and uber.

This is because the boot's "if killed recently" doesn't happen due to limited mobs at times.

The reason I would never remove the lower passives allocated around Heart Of Oak is because there's so many amazing passives there.

- Finesse
- Precise interception - which boosts dps and es
- and the aura cluster which provided 12% reduction.

Here's my next project

AURA
- Hatred
- Discipline
- Herald of Ash
- Herald of thunder with Curse on hit - warlord's mark

I'm going to wait for Skyforth to get to around 40 ex, then buy in around 1 month. They've dropped 30ex in 2 weeks and considering anyone can get them regardless of their build, they will always be more common that Atziri gauntlets - now priced around 50 ex.

Then, I should be around level 97 - 98 so I will have the ability to reserve more mana according to the following calculations using https://poe.mikelat.com/#ErwnZzDd/qhv1tk

2x lvl 4 enlighten - 12% reduction
1X 2% reserve jewel
1X skyforth - 6% reduction
16% from passives

This will leave me with 98 mana at lvl 98 (currently on 95) and provide the ability to get all 3 charges when using blood rage. I should have much great survivability.

I haven't sold anything in over a month and currently have 16 stash tabs full of things I think I can sell. SO hopefully in another month I'll be close to making this happen :D
