[3.0] THEORY Ele Blade Flurry. 6-13 mil VS Shaper, 6667 life
Yeah, I changed 1 jewel to mana leech and it worked. Then I bought Enlighten (Lvl 3) and tried to use Ash+Hatred+Disc but turned out Level 3 Enlighten is not enough. Even with the -4% reduced reserved mana node close to CI it wasnt enough. I only have 8 Mana left to use :(
Is there anything I could do other than buy an Enlighten Level 4 for 300+ Chaos? -.-
is heretics veil ok to use over abyssus? with warlords for leech.
Hi there!
Dropping abyssus means dropping at least 50% of our overall damage.
I have tested this exact setup and I assure you, it's not worth it unless you have massive damage before dropping abyssus. We can run warlord's without heretics, though I suggest getting leech on jewels and on your amulet
Cheers
I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.

Hey mate
There's a few options for us.
We can invest in the charisma passives that gives 12% total mana reduction. COmbined with the 4% passive up by CI, that would be 16%
We could get some +1 boots, gloves or helm to make your enlighten go up by 1 level
Or you could find some combination of both

Thanks a lot for the guide hmcg020. It's my first build in POE and I haven't played an ARPG in a long time so I had a pretty hard time (bad item decisions early). Anyway, I'm still a 90 level huge noob at POE.
I have a couple of questions:
1. How should I get powercharges? I have endurance chance on helmet and I for sure cannot afford skyforth, I don't know if I should replace it for power charge... or if I should replace it for something else (I have same setup as you current abyssus)
2. How do you have so high crit chance? I bought two rings 30% global crit, amulet 22% global, bino is max crit stats and I still have only 81%. Is it something about the assassin ascendancy vs trickster?
3. I can clear everything very fast, but I have trouble with bosses. With Conc it's better but I have small range. how should I handle bosses better?
4. Would switching to assassin help out with bosses? I saw some other guides and the cost wouldn't be too big I just don't know if it's worth it.
Thank you!!!
Hey mate
It looks like going assassin would resolve all of the above questions tbh, though it would make you much more squishy. Power charges are more important than endurance charges for clear speed and boss killing. I would recommend using Pcoc instead of EC on melee stun.
81% isnt bad mate. You could slot in a crit chance gem if you're not already, or get more crit from the tree or jewels.
For bosses, put up your totem, hit all flasks, stack up your blade flurry and release. This should honestly be enough, even without concentrated effect.

In our guild there's a guy - shubs - who does massive dps as an assassin and his stats around the following
Casually clearing maps
11k es
10k average damage with AOE in hideout
This means that although his average damage isn't ridiculously high, he still does insane damage due to poision and bleed stacking with the assassin DoT benefits. Adding in things like a whitchfire Brew flask, wither totem and the fatal toxins passive, can have massive effects.
If he wanted to, he could invest into phys and probably get similar Average damage to me, though his current setp works extremely well for him.
My style is mostly phys and I have invested nothing into DoT besides vuln on hit on my gloves, and a voidheart for when im facing shaper/uber atziri.
What this wall of text means, is that there's many different ways to get dps and I hope that this guide allows you some wiggle room when thinking about what direction you want to invest it.
... I would never play melee without Abyssus though =)

thanks for that. I thought it would be more of a hassle trying to get leech on gems. At what ES would you recommend getting abyssus ?

I would strongly suggest against using it before 7k, then you need decent es from there for it to be really comfortable

Thanks, I will give it a shot and report with findings sometimes later since I'm poor now.
Hmm, do you think i should jump on the abyssus train? I have about 9.3k ES buffed. Do around 15k dps right now, give or take. A fair bit higher when using CocnEff over Increased AOE.
I'm still just using my mana flasks, as i can't afford the other uniques yet, and i still need to find a quicksilver flask.
