[3.0] THEORY Ele Blade Flurry. 6-13 mil VS Shaper, 6667 life
" Thanks for your feedback, i will try to implement that as soon as possible! Maybe in that case i should sell Voidheart for a bino? Or does i make sense to wear both? The bleeding + poison seems to be a great benefit, even with damage over time from binos. |

@DunklerKoenig:
I just took a look at your gem setup and i believe your problem might be not running warlords mark as an aura. If your mana is not enough to run warlords, discipline and hatred at once then drop hatred until you can. I'm currently running with warlords, discipline and herald of ash, thats just slightly less dps and works even with only 4% reduced mana reserved i think. |

" HoA, Discipline and Warlord's are a great combination. Hatred provides 37% extra cold, HoA provides 15% though HoA also has else prolif and causes burning damage. the 22% extra will be noticeable, though we will not be able to run Hatred, Discipline and Warlord's without heavy investment into passive tree, at least 1 level 4 enlighten and maybe even a couple of conqueror's efficiency jewels. HoA, Warlord's and Discipline is the way to go imo. As for your question if you should sell your void heart for a Bino's: Absolutely. Void heart is nothing compared to Bino's as it's the damage from our weapon that poison and bleed scales from in the first place. If you were assassin, then I may be hesitant to remove Void, though as a trickster, you will do similar damage, though have much better defence and have other benefits from having an extra ring slot. Cheers I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.

Hey man -- loving the build, made a few changes based on a few other BF guides I saw and it's working for me quite well. Had a quick question regarding Voidheart -- using the Trickster path, how valuable do you think it is? I'm running into issues with capping strength while also having max resists, and effectively having one less ring slot hurts.
My current gear: Basically the same premise, except I'm running dual curses with heretic's veil using the +1 curse ammy. LMK what you think, and thanks again for the guide! EDIT: Saw your previous post, but was curious what you thought for my set of equipment. I'm running this on STD, if that adds anything. Last edited by Oneiria#2518 on Dec 13, 2016, 2:13:42 AM

" Hey mate Voidheart is great. Honestly it's really good and every melee build will benefit form one. The sacrifice we make dropping one is usually in favor of defense or even because we can't use one without being below res caps, etc. As assassin the choice is easy: we're already pure dps, so our best defense, is basically just more offense. As trickster, our clear speed is already better than Assassin, so sacrificing some single-target DPS for a huge boost to defense is a tempting choice. With this build, trickster is much faster. In just can't imagine anything beating Assassin with voidheart as melee in terms of dps. I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.

Hey, I've been trying CI Blade Flurry after lucking out with a couple of Exalted drops, and atm i'm level 82 with this gear but I don't feel I deal enough damage and/or my attack speed is quite slow (yeah i know i'm with a crappy 5-link). I went assassin and after reading this guide i'd like to know whatI would I gain from respeccing to trickster. Also what would you guys recommend for upgrading my setup? Thanks in advance |

" Hey mate First off - Phys damage. Our rings, amulet, gloves can all have phys damage. Putting that on them will easily give you a 30% more damage boost. Attack speed is something we can get from jewels which is awesome. We can get 12% attack speed pretty comfortably from 1 jewel and if we have 4 of them with this, that's a huge boost. Trickster gives a massive boost to attack and movement speed. Free frenzy charges on top of that, combined with an enormous boost to ES and dodge, trickster is by far a faster, more balanced variety of this build. It just does less target dps. With your setup being hybrid, you would benefit from trickster quite a bit more than assassin. The only drawback would be generating power charges and getting a 6th link for increased crit chance. I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.

What would you recommend for power charge generation instead of skyforth?

Hi,
Great guide! I have few questions though. 1. I was wondering if you are adding the lvl70 guide (node tree progression) soon? 2. What gems you would recommend in early on for 5link (Gem section seemed to state that Blade flurry - faster attacks - Melee physical damage - Melee physical damage on full life are pretty much mandatory) So increased critical strikes or concentrated effect as fifth? / Your gear had increased area effect gem at some point also but was that for leveling purposes or? 3. At what point/level you recommend to start switching the evasion based gear to energy shield gear? *edit 4. You have assasin selected in the lvl96 node tree but you speak about getting the "Shade Form" fast in the ascendancy part. So are you referring to trickster tree there? Thank you in advance!
