This is definitely good, though they have made several other mods MUCH harder. For example, no life and mana regen now means no ES regen too. So not only are we not given a single flask, now we cannot regen on es at all on maps with these rolls.

Leech will now be more important than ever.

I really wanna play BF in next season but i cant see how you are going to leech life, making Vile pact usefull for ES recover.

So many ppl will be disappointed cos they will never reach this gear...

jumping on this when i get home; gonna change out the gem setup though to focus on the chaos damage; remove crit gem and go assassin and remove melee on full life (its kinda bricked so melee phys does more damage, atm) for void manipulation but our trees are pretty much identical and will use the voidheart legacy and valyrium ring and to counter your skyforths (stun part). excited. yay trying to roll 4 off colors :( going to use poachers mark to generate frenzy; probably drop hatred (wont scale the chaos damage) and use CoH with HoI for the curse and add arctic armour with Discipline



6L: Blade Flurry, Faster Attacks, Void Manipulation, Melee Physical Damage, Concentrated Effect and Added Chaos Damage; I do believe all things double dip in this form

Also,

(wither, spell totem, faster casting and optional inc duration) for the totem (more chaos :D) Mostly though, I just did an AP build and I need a break lol

Patch notes out for 2.5.0 - Facebreaker now 45% crit multi instead of 90%. That might change things a bit in terms of BIS gear. Also the Energy From Within jewel now only gives 50% of the ES increases as before - 3-6% instead of 8-12%. That sucks.

Slight nerfs to Blade Flurry but we expected that. Still OP.

I am very interested in your opinion for the nerfs to blade furry after reading the Patchnotes. My first thoughts were that i have to look for a new build to start the League.
Maybe i am wrong, but that are a lot of nerfs to this build :\

I'm not too worried as I'm going budget build without high expectations. I won't have the time or inclination to aim very high. My only concern is getting the required ES gear with Essences being rarer this league etc. Thinking about the Energy from Within nerf - I guess it just means trying to get increased ES on other jewels etc. Shouldn't be TOO bad. High level players won't notice the missing ES I'm sure.

Blade Flurry itself (and Trickster class) are still in good shape I'd say. Some builds (such as this one) might need tweaking around the various other overlapping nerfs - but more in choice of gearing probably.

Ebergy from within is still absolutely amazing due to the fact that the reason we chose it isn't for the 12% inc, it's the fact it turns the cluster we spec into, from life/es into pure es. This means 52% es turns into 46% es. Not that bad.

Avoid getting ES on jewels. Leech is more important and only crimson jewels can get leech; they cannot get ES.

I'm very curious to test BF after the sever nerf. I will explore using Maligaro's with Vulnerability instead of freshly-squeezed Facebreakers.
