It can be done with witch, templar, or shadow.
I would say shadow is probably best start class, but since it's a spell build, I listed in witch forum.

For leveling, I would use searing bond and rush dual totem node.
However, once you get to the end game, you don't really need searing bond anymore, just use them on bosses or rares to kill faster by burning and giving 50% more damage on flame surge.

Hello! I recently switched from my flamesurge selfcast to your totem build and found it significantly safer to play. I don't know if you have considered this but i have just found out that if you use a Bino's with some Southbound gloves the poison prolif and the health regen will proc giving you more aoe dps and health regen for you, your golem and your totems! Which is nice.
