Skill tree should work now. As for a new video, it's just unlikely. I'm really focused on my hc perandus character right now. If I do, it'll be a while. Maybe just a short clip once I get a chance to test the ascendancy.

Might be useful against resistances. Combine with frostbite for even more negative res.

Most of the time it probably won't be needed, depending on damage output.

Upon looking over the classes again, it seems that Inquisitor would be a way better choice. Gonna try a Templar version of this build. I will try to use mana instead, since they buffed mana gain per level. Gonna make it in softcore because I think all the extra crit multi + ignore resists = get once shot by reflect.

I'm using icespear as shadow atm with assassin ascendancy 6 powercharges and as far as marylene's i actually find it pretty good


level 79 atm

only problem with mine is not enough defense, am using a tabula also so its meh but you have eb and mom so its fine for you. Currently upgrading my gear but i'm doing fine with the cold leech doryani's with instant flasks and cdwt moltenshell and ic. Don't really have much ES And no idea what to replace my tabula with. Also im not even using op weapons just a crit shield and crit dagger. Probably going to go for 2 divinarius or a +3/4 staff and in the ideal world 2 void batteries but thats a bit expensive.

Oh and i prefer maligaro's to facebreaker but facebreaker works fine.

Aren't the power charges a bit overkill? or do you need them for max crit chance in your build? I was thinking about trying to incorporate frenzy charges in this build somehow.

Also maligaro's got nerfed indirectly so I wouldn't use it, but if you like it that's fine.

Seems marylene's fallacy got buffed but I still wouldn't use it, I like to freeze always. 40% less crit chance is so harsh.

This is what I theorycrafted for 2.2 and am currently playing. Congrats on being the first to write a guide on a undeservedly forgotten skill.

I was a little shocked that you originally went elementalist. Inquisitor is a 100 times better. Assassin is bad too.

I went pierce with the new gem buff and picked up a couple of nodes on the right of the tree. I am one-shotting everything at early maps. I'm only level 73, but I level slowly. Still deciding between life, low life, CI or MoM.

If you go life or MoM, I recommend taking a look at the winds of change. Damage, proj speed, life etc. Otherwise, get facebreakers for a huge crit multi buff.

Why do you think pierce is important ? How good is exactly your clear speed ?

If you are leveling slowly at level 73 makes me think the clear speed is pretty low.
