Build looks gr8, but I have few questions since 2.1 is coming.


- SI core is 6l staff with "Hits cant be evaded", how much in ur opinion will it cost on new league?
- is Hits cant be evaded core main etc or we can avoid this mod anyway?
- Is it newbie friendly?

we can't use 7l staff (vagan blood magic staff) if we use vaal pact. If we don't use vaal pact, how do we handle reflect?

I ask this question since im bored with all builds I played atm and I need some 2.1 new league build...

1) whole point of build is to drop mana and accuracy problems, its vital, 6l is not required till you have cash. As in "old" section i was using 6l armour and tabula was enough.
2) you can use normal staff but its really a bad idea, vagan staffs are cheap and require one mastercrafted mod, while fully crafted one is 2ex 2 divine
3) Any previous CoC builds were from definition "not" newbie friendly. But if you ask if its easy to play with. Yes its pretty easy.

EDIT. Sorry it was an asshole way to debunk this claim, but if you really dont understand mechanics, i can explain them to you :S

Explain me why i cant use local gem bm to support my 10 mana cost / 25 life cost sith vaal pact ?
I just dont see a reason why my character right now on standard which uses it fine with 4000 life leech per sec, to pay 25 life skill cost, shouldnt be able to do so :))

why would you waste a gem slot if you can have it as mod on your weapon effectivly giving you 7 link?

This is misunderstanding.

Im not using gem.. Just tryin to explain to "lambanog" why it is working as 7l. He seems to not understand why it does >_>...

ps. Just for reference:
Mod : "Gems in this item are Supported by level 1 Blood Magic"
BM gem : "Spend Life instead of Mana for Supported Skills"

I really like this build, and I want to play this for the upcoming leagues. However I kind of had my eye on playing HC again. Would you see this build working on HC? Maybe with a couple of changes.

Personally i would go with this:

You can get almost 200% life. Add to this LC or Belly of the Beast and you will be VERY tanky.

Im also thinking about dropping Arctic Armour, and picking Deodre ring to run perm Enfeeble.

30% less dmg taken for same investment.

Looks pretty good if you ask me :)

I'm returning to PoE after half a year break and am choosing new build to start new league.
I think this build is awsome :D , wanted to ask do you think is it ok to start it as new season char, having 0 currency in my hand?

Ill be running it also from 0. Exacly the same way as i did previously:
1) Start as Cyclone
2) Farm till appropirate lvl
3) Respec to CoC.

Cyclone was/is very popular as a starter build. Getting to appropirate lvl shouldnt be hard even with 4l.
