- Also updated Alira. You are right, it's a multiplier, not chance. I don't know why I thought it was a chance. Even so, I still say it's a good pick up due to both the res and mana regen(it's base mana regen). I'm thinking about removing Controlled Destruction from the setup however.
- Added support for Spell Echo: with faster casting, Spell Echo is only a little bit slower then regular cast(while still having almost exact the same damage output). especially with Controlled Desctruction being less attractive, this becomes more attractive.

Hello nice guide. I have one question, would it be viable to use The Searing Touch staff as a weapon for this build?

So, as a necromancer, you don't really want to take Mind over Matter, is that right?

Planned to do a Storm Burst build, but really disappointed with the skill.. so I decided to go for Firestorm. I started as a Templar, hence a bit different build, and probably wont use minions (because reasons).

Still, this is probably the best place to talk about Firestorm build !
One quick remark is I think that mentionning Nycta's Lantern as a leveling unique can be a great idea, I dropped it a few minutes ago and it's really great before 5L ! (Maybe even better than a 5L ? Would need some tests)

Also, for a non minion build, are the duration node really worth it ? They don't add that much duration on Firestorm.

- Searing touch is possible, good damage, but less defences.
- The necro tree I posted there is correct, so yes. We are using the blasphemy to cast our aura's, so not enough room for MoM. Also the tree is point heavy as we invest in minion damage as well
- Even for a non minion build duration is important, but less. Get at least one cluster. I don't think nycta's is better then a 5 Link, but it's definitely a good option. Forgot they changed it, will add it to the main post(tomorrow ;D)
- And noted. I don't know how that happened, but all I wrote is gone even from the edit(so no weird url o something). I'll look into it tomorrow. The first link is correct btw :)

Another question, I totally forgot about Scorching Ray + CwC (yeah, I didn't played since months before), how does that compare with self cast ?

I would like to know how do you feel about spectres. Is there any good reason to not grab the passive letting us have 2 spectres, etc?
Plus, herald of thunder isn't viable anymore, but why? aside from elemental equilibrium, it is still a valid choice, right?
