Well, to be perfectly honest, not yet enjoying it, cause wild strike only available at act 3 ;)
Currently levelling with Ethereal Knives first, then with reave that i just obtained. I'll let you know! |

" Yeah, a lot of skills are only available starting in Act 3, it's a damn shame. And you don't get Multistrike till Act 4. It's one of the reasons I'm unmotivated to try new builds out since I've done the process so many times. |

Thanks for the build.
so far it's great fun. Why no jewels, though? The Narra-Tor Last edited by By_Tor#5993 on Nov 4, 2015, 6:16:16 PM

" Jewels are very versatile things. A decent rare jewel is always an option. There are two jewel spots that are two points away (which might be good if you need strength or int anyway) with plenty of points left to spare in the build. If you find or buy a jewel that's good, go for it. I can't really think of super important things to look for aside from life and maybe phys damage though. There are a couple spots in your tree that can be more efficient. Instead of going from Finesse to Art of the Gladiator you can connect on the row below and save 1 point (you lose 10 str/int) but later on it will be better. Also you take the 3 life nodes to get thick skin (18% life) when you could take the 3 for blood drinker (20% life), although I think you should just take both.
I'm really enjoying playing this build but it is just no tanky enough. I think you need to drop a couple of the damage nodes you picked up and get a lot more life. Definitely going to want a lightning coil when you can afford it. I'm also considering going Iron Reflexes over Acrobatics, with Grace if needed but not sure if that is better or not. The tree I am currently using is: Probably planning to end with something like this + either Acrobatics or Iron Reflexes: |

" You're absolutely right about there being a few spots that you can improve on or simply change up to your preference, but the str/int is really dependent on your gear at that point. I agree that the build is somewhat squishy, but I'm not a hardcore player so it's okay for me to suffer that occasional death. But I can definitely see myself taking a few damage out for much more life. You can always get the few damage nodes in the end anyway. As for Iron Reflexes and Acrobatics, I think it's more preference. I personally love dodge and it literally makes me feel like god for 9 seconds with Vaal Grace (I was able to run a Tier 12 Shrine boss with little problems because of it I'd say considering Piety doesn't do much physical damage). But you can also get a granite flask on top of iron reflexes (or just in general) if you feel like you need it. I would not oppose a granite flask in most builds. And yes, Lightning Coil, as is Taste of Hate, is good on pretty much any character if you can get it and still cap your resists. Just keep in mind you'll need pretty good accessories to make up for your chest piece having no resists. Last edited by BluuS#1243 on Nov 9, 2015, 4:08:34 PM

Good points. Any thoughts on good vengeance or CWDT setups? I am running Vengeance + Stun + Endurance Charge on Melee Stun (not very effective) and CWDT + GMP + Arctic Breath + Enfeeble.
I am liking Acrobatics more now when you have full frenzy charges and regen from Bino's you practically heal to full between monster hits. I am thinking switching to Iron Reflexes would improve the Vengeance setup though and you might be able to keep endurance charges up fully while mapping just from that. " I'd really like to fit in a full 4L CWDT setup but it's hard to since most things need BM linked to them giving less sockets available for use. That's the reason I went for the 2L Vengeance since it's better than nothing. Your CWDT setup is good but I was thinking maybe I should just replace my 2L Vengeance with a CWDT + Enfeeble since that might be more life saving. I'm not too sure though with little room to spare since I absolutely adore Vaal Grace + Increased Duration. Also I don't think you need ECoMS because you should just be manual casting Enduring Cry anyway. You already need to link BM with Ice Golem so there's not much else you can fit on there anyway. I find it more reliable to have the charges up before I get hit anyway. |
