I seemed to have solved my issue by fumbling around all the game options last night. In the game Options, under the UI tab, we now have the choice for how we interact with the servers (first setting on the UI tab): Auto, Lockstep, or Predictive.
Since 2.0 came out I have been playing in Lockstep mode. When I checked this setting last night it had been changed to "Auto". I changed it back to Lockstep and my zoning issues went away. It's worth a try to check this setting. |

So after I thought I had this past me, I couldn't zone again after the initial one this morning. I set PoE to run in compatibility mode for Windows 8 and it seemed to fix my issues for now.
BTW, running Windows 10 from recent upgrade. FYI: I don't recommend the Win 10 upgrade yet :( |

Same issue here, 12/9, playing from Frankfurt server.
Sometimes I manage to load the zone but my latency is zero. Kind of a relief if its a server issue, I was a step away from deleting and reinstalling game. Waiting for a fix, soon hopefully! |

Alright, atleast for me I seem to find a 100% way to get back in the game again. For some reason I get these problems only on my dorm wifi, so connecting through any other internet source seems to fix this problem for a while, and then I can even play through my dorm wifi. But after a while it gets stuck again, so I have to find some other connection to join through. Usually I just use internet sharing from my phone to connect to POE, play for like 10 mins and then connect to the regular dorm wifi and it seems to fix the problem for a while. Hope it may help for someone.
