I would go CI so I don't die when on desecrated ground and 1HP. Also CI has the highest potential total HP pool. A max aoe tree like this.

Highlights:
234% base ES + 325 int + 15% more + 60% ES on rings/amu = > 412% ES
437% increased fire damage
56% increased AoE
5 jewels

Your base ES could be 500 helm + 900 armor + 500 shield + 250 gloves + 250 boots + 100 jewelry + 320 discipline + 54 tree = 2850 base * 5.12 = 14.5k ES.

Use a shav ring for 4% regen = 600 ES/sec to avoid dying to any ignite. Shav ring's regen works with vaal pact.

With 14.5k ES your base damage will be 14.5k * 1.39 = 20.1k base damage. You will have something like 180% spell damage from wand+shield, so in total it will be like 600% increased damage. Or about 140k damage per use before support gems. Add fire pen for at least 1.35, inc aoe (should be enough AoE to offscreen stuff), and life leech and you're good to go.

Interesting, that tree looks strong! I drew up one putting some points into shield nodes for 40% total block and more base ES from shield and ended up at 18k ES with the gear you listed.

Only concern before making the build is getting enough souls constantly, so going max AoE might indeed be the way to go.

Probably one of the funniest build ever.

I play it with "Wrecking ball" song in background and I explode everytime I hears "LIKE A WRECKING BALLL" it's just... perfect !
