I am still missing some key elements. Level 4 Empower would blow 100k easy. My gems are still not 20/20. I need more Dex to get Vaal Haste to level 20.

I really wanted to try Faster Projectiles instead of Added Chaos Damage. My guess is the DPS will go down a little but the safety of longer projectiles would be handy not to mention the fact I will not need to cast as many totems. I will test it once I can get more currency.

I'm not actively playing this build atm in Talisman.

For most dps use Consuming Dark and FT - FC - VM - CD - lvl4 Empower - ACD

I do not have a Vaal Temple map. If I happen to get one in my travels I will definitely test it out.

That is a loss of 5,606.6 if you remove Added Chaos Damage and add Faster Projectiles at the base level. I did not do the rest of the math.

I think I am going to swap back.

Next on the list is to start farming Atziri for Uber pieces in the hopes to give it a shot.

I lost 3,760.0 DPS but gained 202 HP & 18 ES.

Note: I can easily make this back should I choose to lose the extra HP Rusherboy put in with the Heart & Soul line. It gives me 4 points back to get at least 1 extra jewel slot & 2 for the Life & Chaos Resist area. My weakest jewel right now gives me 2400 DPS

I do not have Sanctity which would give me 10% more ES. I have 30 Dex instead.

Rusherboy, your thoughts? I like the increase in HP. I am thinking for Uber the HP might be better for survival.

I am also toying around with the idea of saying goodbye to Clarity & getting Clear Mind. This build with Clear Mind gives me 68,321.8. I can sustain this build now without clarity.

Hmm thats alot of dps lost compaired to little gains.

I swapped out the Tree. It was only 6 points. Note: Rusherboy, you credited 6 but only spent 5. I put the extra one in life & Chaos for now. If I get enough Dex, I can dump the point & use the 2 to get an extra jewel slot (2.5K DPS Jewel in the bank right now).

The numbers went up slightly. This is still without Clear Mind which adds about 3k more DPS. I am going to play around with it. I still like the idea of getting Snowforged. Those 3 points give me close to 5k DPS. I just have to figure out what 3 are the weakest & change things around.

I tried Atziri last night with Consuming Dark using the first tree you posted.



Edit - Tier 14 Two Boss Palace Map

I tried out the Snowforged line.

I removed the Chaos Damage line. As far as I can tell you do not get the 4% Spell Cast Bonus with Atrophy because it is for Chaos skills. Flame Totem is a fire skill. It just happens to do 100% Chaos Damage with this build.

My DPS before the change was 70,034.1.

I took the Snowforged line which added 5673.7.
I took a jewel slot.

My DPS is now 70,911. That is almost 1k more.

I'm pretty sure your latest version of the tree is best best current one I'm going to put that one as the current tree for the build.

It seems that eventhough the Flame Totem Gem itself was nerfed heavily, the new supports (with 100% chaos conversion) more than make up for it.

I'm pretty sure there will be some nerf before next league to the chaos builds. We'll just have to see if it will be nerf to chaos conversion or if they nerf the skills (Bladefall, Firestorm for example).
