1 claw dual wield reave, tanky and great clearspeed [HC] [budget]
Just wanted to say thank you for this fun build! I`ve been wanting to roll this build out for the past week but I was away so i could not play until today. Got to level 30 (tempest) and everything was going great, the game was fun and quite easy, this build has a lot of mobility which I like. I only came across two problems up till now.
1. Mana requires constant flask usage this early on which is okay, just tedious. (it`s fine). 2. Piety killed me with her ice bow in 2 hits! I knew it could happen because my resists were very low (11) but I wanted to try killing her since the game had been a breeze up till then (tooltip dps was 1.2k, using a phys dmg crafted blue claw and relentless fury). I then went into standard and fought her just for revenge and this time she melted. I guess I got unlucky the first time, but I was asking for it. Lesson learned. I`ve already started my second character now and this time I will not take the risk :P. Thanks for the guide, I can`t wait to be doing maps with this build! |

" Yeah, just try to dodge stuff or get enough resists/armor/life for it not to matter. @litto or @kaharon

Can this build use vaal pact? i think that it should be pretty good with claw leech.

" I only briefly tried it at lvl 59 with a 2% ll 275 pdps claw (roughly 9k dps with buffs at the time) and it seemed ok, but I don't know if the difference is worth 3 extra points to get to it. I imagine it's better at higher levels though. |

Love this build and having a lot of fun with it.
Currently level 61 with 7k dps fully buffed - Vaal Reave makes this build so much fun, the clear speed and range is awesome. One question though, since I am getting higher and play on HC - how do you deal with physical reflect mobs? Skip them? Go slow? I know that is going to be the death of me. |

im lvl 88 now with the build and dps something like 30-40k with buffs and i've never had a problem with reflect.. i kinda miss more single target dps... and i feel that in parties the dps is lacking.. more crit chance&multi would be great! ;)
maybe its because the insane amount of small hits... edit: not sure yet how big of an "umph" will q20 gems bring since theyre soon going to ding that Last edited by Sessi0#1687 on Aug 10, 2015, 4:11:05 AM

" Well I got to Piety in cruel this time! Everything was going amazing, pushing 3.5k dps at level 49, and then windows thought it was important to let me know it updated my start menu while I was bypassing Kole. Rip :( Third time's the charm? Lot of fun though! |

What exactly is a stat stick and what are examples of one? This guide looks very nice, I'm levelling my shadow now!

Relentless Fury is a great stat stick and you can buy it for 1 chaos in Warbands. A stat stick otherwise means a weapon that can't be used for reave (like 1h axe), can be dualwielded and provides decent bonuses to your build.

I'm trying this build too right now, really funny, I've just killed piety easily.
It's really nice how it works. Speed thanks to wb and the damage (I bought some items for lvling) Until now the game was realle easy, firstly I was a bit scary of "facetanking" some bosses... but u can dodge pretty easily with wb, you can one-shot any normal mob with a good weapon + 4links reave. Maybe 4-5 hit per unique boss, it feels like fighting butter-enemies :) But! I feel squishy right now, when I got hitted, wow!, I have to play the piano with the pots, you know what I mean :D. I've capped res at lvl 30-32 and have 1k hp more or less, this feeling is normal at this lvl or should i focus on more armor/evasion? Some tips for lvling plz? My gear right now: *edit: I use flame totem for avoiding facetanking some bosses like brutus on lunaris... I ususally forget to use the totem due to the rythm of this awesome build :) Last edited by anigmar#2908 on Aug 11, 2015, 7:50:44 AM
