Sure mate, look ast your Gems. None of them is near Max. lvl. You don´t have Empower linked to EK, you have the wrong Belt (you need the physical version) and you don´t run Righteous fire i think, because i don´t see it in your sockets.

You can not expect high DPS with low lvl gems. You have to level them first or buy them leveled. And you need to run righteous fire

First of all, congratz on the build, looks really solid once finished! I had a similar idea about RF EK a few weeks ago but was pretty clueless about how to pull it off, your idea really helped me.

Now a few suggestions:

1) There's a way to build without Alpha's Howl, it makes the build kinda cheaper for starters and pretty awesome DPS wise, at the cost of some defense:



You get a ton of STR and the stat management becomes really easy with the given stats. Also, the +1 to gems lets you use a level 2 Enlighten. The downside is that you have to use AA instead of Grace, but even AA is pretty solid with our health pool. By using this setup, you only need 4% less reservation cost, and 0 should you have a level 3 Enlighten :)

2) Amulet and gloves:

In my opinion, Astramentis is very far from the BiS. In the Amulet slot you can get Cast Speed, Spell Damage, Life, Resists and a ton of STR. Here's an amulet I purchased for about 40c:



By adding some resists in the Amulet slot, you also open the possibility of an easier time using Meginord's. Gloves don't give offensive stats at all besides a bit of STR, unlike amulets. So it's a given using Meginord's for gloves and a rare Amulet with good stats could be more efficient way to build and scale your toon.

3) Immortal Call, Endurance Charges, point efficiency:

I noticed your build doesn't get a 4th End Charge with the regen bonus behind it, near Marauder. I felt like this build doesn't really need to Curse regular mobs, so spamming Enduring Cry could be way more efficient. With a CwDT Immortal Call and 4 Charges, you have a pretty decent duration against Physical, especially against Reflect. What I did was drop Unwavering Stance, and path to the +1% Max Fire Res/HP and Endurance Charges/Regen/Jewel slot near the Mara start. Unwavering Stance, while being a cool Keystone to prevent ultra endgame stunlocks, is pretty much wasted nearly all the time, given how big our HP pool and defenses are. You could make the prevention to stunlocks with the IC setup I suggested :)

Here's hoping I get lucky on a few drops and get money to finish the build. Again, thanks a lot for the idae!

Hey :)

Alpha's Howl these days is far away from being expensive, but when u can Build around it with Black Sun Crest go on. By using this Helmet u loose a TON of Defense. You loose Grace, you gain AA instead. This is nice but AA have gives only benefits while you are Standing still. Since you should move a lot, AA is wasted most of the Time. And when you get Hit while you are Moving, AA does nothing against Physical/Fire Damage. On Top of that, you loose the Can not be Frozen from Alpha's which is a Life saver. You also have to Empower your Purity of Fire to get 5% Max resistance. And you loose 2 lvl's on Grace which is with Alpha's combined around 1k Base Armor.

The only Amulet i found which was good to replace Astramentis on Standart was an 3 Stats Craftable Amulet which costs 10 Exalts. Most Amulets have Crap stats together with the stats you need.

And missing Unwavering Stance killed me 2 Times in lvl 77/78 Maps, so for me, dropping US is not an Option. Sure this Maps had extra Damage mods, but why rerolling it when you can run it? ^^ But when you can play with it, everyone can Tweak the Build to his Playstyle, Gear and available Currency :)

Update on my build, finally managed to get a 6L and the required gems. I took the AA/LC route and I'm pretty satisfied. LC might look a bit intimidating to balance resistances wise but it is definitely doable with some resistance jewels.

Cleared a bunch of 77-79 with no problem.



This gear setup requires at least 3 jewels with good resistances but def pays off, as you can see:

However I didnt quite understood the choices with the bandits...

But hey I never could judge what was the best choice bandit wise for any char I played anyway. ^^

Could you explain a bit more the reasons behind your choices ?

Hi again.

First, the build is great. I still got long way with this one before I'm satisfied, but it already feels awesome. Planning to 6-link my belly soon, and then invest more on the jewels. I'm currently lvl 90.

I was just wondering, that when I run RF, I still slowly lose life without frenzy charges. I've got lvl 20 purity of fire with alpha's. I compared your items / gems, you got purity lvl 21 and better life regeneration. My fire res is 88%, and life regen without charges 611,9.

Obviously, lvl 21 purity of fire helps. But where does your 755,8 life regeneration come from? I checked the tree, and I've got the same endgame tree, except few jewel slots, so it looks like its not coming from there. I compared our gear, and it seems that its not coming from there either.

i thought my Bandit choice is pretty self explaning but, here it goes.

Normal - Oak (40 Life) it´s the best choice for Life Builds. You can go without it but that was what this Character had taken while Leveling (and dying later ^^) in Nemesis. You could Kill em All, but 40 Base Life is better in my Opinion.

Cruel - Kill all, why? Because the bonus one Bandit can give is not that great since Jewels exist and i think the Passive point is stronger than some Phys Damage or Cast Speed. When you want to choose a Bandit, take Alira.

Merciless - Kraytin: Frenzy charges gives us more Damage, more Cast Speed and more Life regen.
This is the best choice here. Better than any extra Passive point you get from kill all here.

my higher Life regen is a result of an maybe higher Life pool or you forgot to take a Life regen node on the Tree. You need 10,8 % Life regen with 88% Fire resist and the Endgame tree has 11,2%. You loose Life without Charges while casting but not while doing nothing. With lvl 21 Purity of Fire you only need 9,9% Life regen. The life regen amount itself is not the Problem, because RF burns you for an percentage of your Life pool. So more Life results in more Fire Damage taken from RF.

Just one question what about the keystone "Point blank" on tree? Useless or? because most of time you're on melee so...

Hi,

i am back from my Vacation so now i can answer your question. Someone asked this already in this thread but Point Blank only works on Physical Attacks not Spells. So this Keystone or the Gem is useless for this Build.
