Compared to other gems this just isn't worth the 180% more mana multiplier any more, what made multistrike so strong pre 2.0 is that it had increased damage on the gem, which was really strong for summoners because we naturally don't have a lot of increased minion damage in the tree.

Shavs would mainly be so you could run extra aura's on life, I don't really think we would benefit that much more from running extra aura's, all the really important ones are being used already.

That being said, if your budget is really crazy high, it could probably be better since you can add anger and grace to the mix, anger will buff the spirits even further and grace will make it even more defensive, the problem with that is the links though, there isn't really any room to add the links and I really can't see any room in the skills to drop those for the extra aura's except for the chaos golem/invocation slot. I think it wouldn't be very great with this variation of the build and it's probably better to look to some other variation if you want to run low life.

Only the faster casting

Summon raging spirits are minions, they don't benefit from anything affecting our attacks or spells.

Basically the only way to increase our damage output is.

Minion attack speed
Minion movement speed ( reduce travel time between mods and reduce travel time from the place they're being cast to the mob )
Minion damage
Cast speed
Aura's

This is also why the build invests so heavily into aura's.

Nice build =). SRS is too damn strong. You can do Atziri with just white gear and a 4L.

Also RIP cartographers box, my heart dropped when you did not roll it lol.

Does the "more attack speed" work with the increased attack speed for minion nodes on the tree? Because if so that would make it a 62.96% more multiplier (multiplicatively with other more multipliers, even). So I guess that would make it better than melee phys damage.

The point about the huge mana multiplier still stands though.

It was pointed out to me that it's not even a carto, that was a normal strongbox dropping a ton of maps, Streamer RNG is real

What were your reasons to use wand + shield instead of the usual +2 staff?

Isn't melee splash a worse option than multistrike (or empower, or added fire)? I always thought SRS-aoe comes from the pure numbers of spirits instead of using an aoe support (but i'm not very versed with SRS).

I'm already destroying everything with a 4L, getting more damage is currently just overkill, exspecially since this is a budget version and the really good staves are expensive as hell.

Multistrike isn't good anymore after the nerf, too high mana multiplier for the damage it does ( check the FAQ )

Melee splash is to try and counter the extremely annoying build countering other allies cannot die mod. It helps a lot with it, also great for destroying strongboxes and beyond modifiers or any map with big packsize, most bosses have adds or spawn adds anyway so it's not a waste.

I think srs summoners are starting to use pledge of hands more and more (guess the l30 spell echo plus 100% mana), build is very good but it may be an option for min maxing at late game (or a +3).
